The room was clean, everything was kept well. But the breakfast was terrible. Looked like old bagels and cheap danish style stuff. Waffle maker but was out of waffle mix.

Absolutely loved staying here!!! Our room was clean and well maintained and the staff was amazing. If you're looking for a clean room that's reasonably priced this is definitely the place to stay.

Charming older hotel in great location if you are interested in recreation in the unique Carolina Sandhills (golf, horseback riding, hunting, birding). Price is reasonable and the staff are friendly. Air conditioning is via window units, which is adequate for temperature control. In the steamy North Carolina summer, however, the window units may not provide enough control of humidity. This is a problem with many older buildings in the Carolinas and not unique to this location.

Could be a really cool hotel

For us, it was a little disappointing. Hotel needs a lot of work. Think they are trying to renovate but never saw anyone working. Just unfinished projects. Rarely someone at desk and must be short on help. Lots of multitasking. Breakfast just ok. No coffee in room. It was downstairs but sometimes not available. Had orange juice substitute. Kinda like Tang but not. No full length mirror in room or countertop in bathroom. Security chain lock on door put on backwards so worthless. The little things just add up. Ice bucket in room but no ice machine and if bar is closed then no ice. I take showers. Non-skid stuff on bathtub worn off. Had to be very careful. TV remote was fussy. Was going to check batteries. Battery lid was gone so they were taped in. When staff was there they were very nice and helpful! If you are just looking for one night or two even and don't care about amenities though, it's ok.

Nice surprise in Pinebluff, NC

The hotel is an older building, but great care was taken with the refurb. The beds were so comfortable and the towels were really long and wide. The breakfast was a light meal, but would feed you. Staff was super friendly, even when I locked myself out and needed help at 11:00 pm. We plan to come back in August.

Beautiful location and nice room. Wonderfully friendly staff. However, in the room there was no stand to put suitcases on so had to put on floor and a shelf above closet rod’s would have been a great help. Not an huge deal by any means. The breakfast was very minimal with waffles, oatmeal, pastries, some fruit and yogurt. Our biggest complaint was the noise level. The bar and grill (which had very good food) was right outside the rooms. The people on the bar were very loud and no effort was made to quiet them.

Clean but rundown

Lady at front desk said to use my phone number to check into my room so I did. Later that night a worker opened the door not knowing we had checked in. Good thing the chain was on the. I chose this place so my son could use the putting greens and beach volleyball court but everything was so overgrown you couldn't even find the holes to putt. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was not very good.
