We stayed here at the end of our trip having been in another hotel in split and a visit to the island of vis. A nice hotel 15 minutes walk from the old town. Nice “ plunge “ pool on Roof, it’s about 90 cms deep and bloody cold, good Breakfast and comfortable large rooms

Convenient and nice place to stay. We rented a car so it was a quick drive to center. We took an Uber one day and it was only $8 one way. I’d definitely stay here again.

This property is in a very bad part of split and it’s a ten min Uber from old town. The hotel was nothing special. Some staff was nice but some were very rude. We would not recommend the hotel. There is nothing in the area to see.

Marvie Hotel provided a fabulous base for a lovely holiday in Split. It is in walking distance to the Old Town and there are supermarkets nearby. We liked Trstenik beach which was a short walk away as it was much quieter than the very popular Bacvice beach. The hotel staff were very helpful, we arrived early and made use of the baggage storage area. When we checked in, everything was processed quickly and with a friendly attitude. We had 2 rooms, a twin bed courtyard view room and a sea view balcony room. Both were clean with everything one could need. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, we had an early start for a day trip one day so we requested a Breakfast Bag - these were great, although on hindsight I should have asked for one to be vegetarian - perhaps this could be mentioned in future. We had two evening meals at the restaurant, the service was excellent and the meals were delicious as well as being very reasonably priced. The wellness centre is a real plus for the hotel and a lovely place to enjoy when the August heat got a little too much. I had a facial which was so relaxing! Try the tropical storm setting in the Experience Shower - it’s great! The rooftop pool and bar are great, it can be crowded but it’s not really an issue. When it was time to go home, the reception staff arranged a taxi for us which was cheaper than the one we got from the airport. Overall, we had a great time at the Marvie Hotel and would recommend it.

The Marvie was a fantastic hotel for our stay in Split. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the view from our balcony provided gorgeous views and the roof deck was even better. The free breakfast was fantastic too.

Nice hotel, but beware its 25 minutes fast walk to the town centre. Room was good, very large, plenty of storage. Could improve the coffee at breakfast and some free drinking water by the rooftop pool.

Lovely hotel but view of a building site opposite was not the ‘partial sea view’ I had paid a premium for. Book with caution - if you want a sea view it will have to be on the 4th or 5th floors and don’t think a ‘partial sea view’ means that - it’s only a vey few of the rooms have a limited sea view between gaps in buildings from the lover floors. My issue is with Expedia’s description rather than the hotel itself but there is an unfinished building site as the view from the majority of floors/rooms and the area around the hotel is pretty dirty and smelly - dustbins in surrounding area were overflowing and with them unpleasant smells!
