For the price of one night, single queen bed being only $58 we got what we paid for. The room looked nice but going up the stairs to the second floor of the motel six had a very weird cat litter smell to it when my husband and I were in the room. We noticed the hot water was not working at all. So we go down to the check-in desk. Until the guy.

Very bad experience. I had to change five rooms in just two days. The first room had a broken lock. The second didn’t have a fridge (and you have to pay extra if you want one). The third had no heating — it was really cold at night — and the mattress had a terrible smell, like something had died on it. The fourth room had no hot water. The fifth had hot water, but again, no working fridge. I ended up staying in the fourth room just because I had already taken a shower in the third. On my last day, after working a night shift, I was hoping to sleep in — but I was woken up by a loud fire alarm. The only good thing is that it’s close to the Amazon warehouse. But overall, I do not recommend this place.

Worst motel 6 ever

Bathroom door handle was broken, the TV only had one channel. The guy at the front desk didn't speak much English. Bathroom fan and light didn't work and black mold in the shower. Said I was gonna be getting a full refund of almost 400 dollars for the two night stay and we shall see if it comes

Worst night ever.

None of the exterior doors of the motel were secure or able to lock. The room's deadbolt lock on the door was broken and wouldn't engage. The bedding was stained and dirty. When we asked for new clean ones we never got them. We were on the bottom floor of the motel and could hear every footstep and creek of floorboards of the individual above us who for some reason was up and about the entire night.

My daughter and I booked a night at this place because it was near the airport and we needed a night before driving back to BC. When we arrived, the office where we checked in smelled strongly like cigarette smoke. The staff was unprofessional but kind. We proceeded to our room which was at the back of the building. The first door didn’t work with the key card so we drove around to the other side and re-parked. That door worked but when we walked in, more smoke filled hallways. Gross. And not just a little bit. We opened the door of our room and were met with more smoke, with a big sign on the door saying “no smoking”. It was disgusting and we didn’t even go all the way in. I walked back to the office and asked for another room. The staff immediately apologized and gave us keys to a new room on the 2nd floor. We walked with all our luggage up the stairs (no elevator) and opened up that door. More smokey rooms. We stayed for about 20 minutes trying to decide what to do. My daughter has asthma and was having trouble breathing. The bed covers had cigarette butt burns all over them, the room was dirty and the window was hard to open to get much needed air. There was no way we could stay there. This place is not a motel…it was a sad excuse for a cheap night, sold on the website as convenient by the airport and inexpensive. Both of things things were true, but the place was awful. We ended up driving all the way back to BC, with cigarette soaked clothes. Don’t do it!
