Accommodations were good. Clean room, great staff. We didn't eat breakfast but it looked sufficient. Pool and patio were nice. Would come back again.

This hotel was a little older. Obviously the pictures they use are not the same. The hot tub has been closed for a while now in fact it’s not existent. The gym doesn’t open until after 8 AM. We would have liked to do our work out before breakfast and before we left. Breakfast was OK lady who was serving was not very pleasant at all. Lady at the front desk when we checked in and out, both ladies were pleasant. The lady when we checked in gave us a great recommendation for pizza places. All it was a decent stay. Would have liked to known that the hot tub wasn’t there, that was being reason for booking this hotel. The indoor pool however, was still up and running.

I was simply doing an overnight stay in Springfield for a business trip. Check-in was simple and quick, as I had made the reservation via Hotels.com and prepaid. The front desk person was friendly but was not very professionally dressed. The room was spacious and mostly clean. The room and bathroom were dated, for example the bathtub was old and the bottom was discolored so a mat had been put in the bottom. I was in a room nearest the elevators and the noise level was not great, due to foot traffic and people in the halls. As is my practice, I always take my things with me to breakfast (carryon size luggage, laptop bag), so that I can check out immediately after breakfast, rather than having to return to the room. After fixing my plate of breakfast and sitting down to eat, I was informed that I could not have my luggage in the area and would have to leave in the lobby area. Due to this I simply left without eating my breakfast because I was not going to leave my personal items in the lobby out of sight. I was told that it was a fire hazard and that nothing was to be on the floor.

Location is ideal for me Problem is that I have been given rooms with short toilets twice now When I requested a change on my last visit, was told no other rooms with normal toilets were available The parking lot was not full that night that made me feel that rooms were available but desk manager indicated otherwise Nice propert but one issue stands out as noted.
