I booked two seperate rooms for this stay as we were in town for my sister’s wedding. I booked one of the suites for her so we had a place to get ready in for the wedding and the space worked out well. The room with two queen beds was kind of small with not much room to move in. Both rooms were clean!

This was one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. Jean at the front desk was wonderful!!! I would drive extra miles to stay here again!!

The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. EVERTHING sparked! The breakfast was also good, and the place was nice and quiet. I took off stars because of the odor, especially in my room. I couldn't place it, but I suspected it was because this is an older hotel and it's hard to get old odors out. If I was going to stay in the room all day I would have asked for a different room, but I was gone all day and only needed it at night. I got used to it after several minutes. Otherwise, the place was comfortable and the price was right.

Crazy Big Room, but...
What was good - upsizing to essentially a double sized room was inexpensive. Bedding, towels, bathroom and sink areas were clean. What was not so good - very strong musty smell. The room is in serious need of re-carpeting. We bought fabreeze and a stand alone air freshener from the HyVee but it didn't help much. There were fans blowing in the hallways so we figured the entire hotel had issues and did not ask to change rooms. The upstairs hallway was also a little spongey walking to our room, like the subfloor didn't have enough support. There has definitely been water damage. All in all, the room had potential, but I couldn't recommend it in its current condition.
