I've stayed at many pet friendly places and never been greeted with the overwhelming aroma of urine. My dog wouldn't even sit on the floor. If it's weren't midnight when we checked in after traveling two days straight I would have asked for my money back or a different room. The carpet from the 90s needs to go the stench is terrible.

Unfriendly

The lady working the front desk was very unfriendly. She acted like we were an inconvenience. We didn't realize the breakfast was free & she didn't bother to tell us, so we went out for breakfast & spent an extra $25. Other than that , it was fine.

The man at the front counter was polite when we checked in. The room is old and dingy. We did see some bugs in the room. We could hear every word the neighbor was saying in our room. We went out at night and saw a bunch of people wondering the area at night, but the hotel seems far back enough to keep non guest out.

The hotel is an older style "motel" type facility, but the room was well apportioned, remodeled and clean. The price was well below the cost of other hotels in the area, as it is an older hotel.... but I was pleased with the facility and the value. I'll stay again in the future.

I don't know how this place has any ratings of 3 star or better. Floor in room was dirty including food and trash under the bed; bathroom sink was coming off of wall; beds were sagging in the middle, thermostat didn't work (set to 70 but jumped up to 73 in the middle of the night.) Certainly would not recommend and will not go back.
