Convenient and clean
My husband and I went to the Illinois state fair and stayed here .the location is handy to get to off the highway and there are a few restaurants around. Staff was great. The hotel and room itself was clean. The pool was clean but the room the pool is in could use a rehab . That’s my one and only complaint .

Staff were friendly. This is a refurbished property. The pictures on the website appeared much nicer than the property itself. Sofa in the room is old and dirty. We had ants coming in through the AC unit (on the 2nd floor). There are a lot of security camera's so I felt fairly safe but if my husband had not been with me, I would not have slept. There definitely needs to be more kitchen help for breakfast. One person cannot keep up with the number of people that are there to eat breakfast.

Horrendous Breakfast Service
Thecsheets we asked for to make up the sleepwr sofa had "brown spots" all over them. The breakfast service was horrendous. Could not keep the food or coffee filled. Even the coffee pot in lobby was empty. When I Sked about more coffee they said they were brewing some. Not sure why you aren't brewing coffee ahead of time when it's 8:30 on a Sunday morning?? The only thing available to eat at 8am wwere eggs and 1 piece of wheat bread. There was also gravy but no biscuits until about 15-20 minutes later. By far, the worst breakfast service I've ever encountered!

Stay was ok. The place could use some deep cleaning or updating. Check out is 11am, and they were pounding on the door to turn over the room by 9:40am. We said we weren't quite ready yet. At 10:20am, the cleaning lady just walked right in, unannounced, just as I was getting dressed. A knock would've been nice.
