Got What Was Expected for the Price

Got the room at the last minute on a discount. Facility is undergoing some renovation. It shows its age, and the location is not in the best part of town. Everything out in the open was clean. Floors between the bed and wall, around headboards, and around and under furniture were not. There was an ant in the bathtub but no bugs otherwise. It's a motel and not a hotel, meaning the doors open to the outside, and you could see light through the door frame because the door didn't quite fit. Because of that, if you pushed on the door, it would move when closed. You want to make sure to use both locks. All that said, the bed was comfortable, and I didn't have any issues with neighbors or noise. I slept well, and at the price I got the room, that's all you can really ask for.

Stay away from this place at all costs! We left and drove all the way to Rolla for a nice, reasonably priced hotel. Good though if you like prostitutes and meth, you can get both in their parking lot.

We did not enjoy our stay at this particular location. It was very noisy from traffic. The room smelled awful. The toilet kept clogging, the shower had two settings, scalding hot or burn your skin off hot and we felt unsafe on the property The room was clean but not up to par. The nicest thing I could say was that there is a Waffle House right next door and they had delicious coffee and good food.

You get over charged for a damage deposit

So, I was told that the deposit fee was going to be waived for me and my partner due to their systems trying to overcharge us. When I booked it on hotels.com they said what you see is what you pay and they said no hidden fees well a $175 damages deposit when it’s only supposed to be a $100 is outrageous for a cheap hotel. Not only did our fee not get waived but they still charged us $175 and it never got refunded to our card and we did not trash the room so we spent $90 on the room and $175 on a deposit that we never got back so I will probably no longer be using this site or motel again due to this experience alone

This is an older motel-style stay (doors to rooms are on the outside of the building on all three floors). You can tell that efforts are being made to update the property, however issues such as the stained furniture and drapery, garbage in/under the sofa bed, a bathroom door that did not close, and ants in our room have lowered our overall rating of this property. It may be worth revisiting as an inexpensive one night stay after updates have been completed.

Upon arrival the towel bar above the toilet was not attached to the wall and was on the top of the toilet. The drapes/sheers were not fully attached to the track. There was no drain plug to take a bath if o e wanted to and standing water in the drain. The coffee table in the living area was so wobbly that it was ready to fall apart. I know it is a days in and not a high end hotel but do better!

The photos of this hotel did not show what the property was really like. After getting telling him about the bugs, the receptionist shrugged it off like “oh well”. Then I told him about the blood and smear on the outside of the toilet. He still didn’t really care. Offered us another room but we left. We paid for a whole new hotel and didn’t stay here.
