Wasn’t notified that there was construction going on at the hotel until arrival. Also the attendant at breakfast made us feel very uncomfortable and seemed more of a breakfast “guard” than a service attendant. We felt like we couldn’t eat what we wanted in fear of repercussions with the constant looks as we went through the line.
Renovations being done. On 3rd floor - we stayed on 2nd floor. Saturday morning
Woken up at 7 am by work being done directly above us. I called front desk to complain and they said next room already called and they went up to yell at the workers who started 2 hours early - Work schedules at 9 am - not 7 am!
If it was 9 am there wouldn’t have been a problem.
The room was clean, bed uncomfortable (king suite) and room would benefit from renovations. The highway was a bit loud, it was on the side we stayed.
The manager reached out to me and did nothing about our stay. This is not what i expected.
Would NOT stay here due to this and being woken up so early. You pay to stay somewhere and it should be quiet and comfortable. There’s enough hotels within 15-30 minutes to stay nearby.
Very disappointed in this stay. I have stayed here a few times in the past and had no issues.
Not to mention we were here for a funeral - just 2 weeks before for another funeral and stayed in Holyoke that stay

Front desk was full of personality and helpful. Pillows were assorted and labeled. I am a pillow snob, but honestly, the beds were very comfortable. I just have a problem with those stingy sugar and powdered creamer packets! If you take cream and sugar in your coffee, you need a half dozen packets. Not the hotel's fault, but put more in the rooms, please!
Incredibly friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. It was nice to know that while the hallway fire system was down, they had staff on fire watch on every floor: The pool was wonderful and great hot breakfast!
