I want a refund for this stay. We didn't even stay there, we found somewhere else to stay when we saw the room we had at Lamplighter. One bed was broken, multiple light bulbs were burnt out, the shower curtain rod was bent in half, the linnens had stains, the room was dirty and there was clear water damage on one of the walls. I have pics of everything. Please let me know how i go about receiving a refund for this reservation.

Online, they made this property look like a gem. Once we got there, the foundation was caving in at certain parts, the furniture was old and filthy, and the shower was in poor condition and not high enough to accommodate tall people (I’m almost 5’9 for reference. The service side was a little lacking as well. Certain people were nice, but overall, I would NOT recommend this facility! We will never return to this place.

The place is a complete dump. Do NOT waste money there. My son and I were there less than two hours and we checked out and went to Comfort Inn South. Best decision I could have made!

That place needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. I mentioned that the room did not have a phone; the lady said some one broke the outlet so they took the phone out. A free continental breakfast was available from 7 to 9 AM; at 8:05 I went to get toast and coffee and there was no bread. I asked for bread and she said "I do not have any more and cannot get any more and how can I give you what I do not have" It is quite a shame to see the destruction of a place that we found great in 2002.

I would have slept in my car over this please. Immediately i smelled mold, my room was apparently not ment to be rented out see pictures. Bed old and out dated, floor trim falling off, tv missing, put into another room that i was afraid to take my shoes off in.

Had to change rooms twice. Door handle didnt work, heater didnt work on first room. Second room had not been cleaned. Third room had a mouse living in it, the window curtain did not close so lights blinded us all night long and the shower did not work. We checked out early. Very dissatisfied. For the price, we did not expect a 5 star hotel, but we did expect to have the basics.

When we got to our room it looked like they were remodeling it but it wasn't bad and when we went to check out they asked us about it and told us the girl that checked us in didn't know about it so they gave us a free night this is the only hotel we use and now I know why they are awesome

Don't stay here.

This place is a dump. Clean sheets. Stand towels. Stains on the walls in the bathroom and in the room. Says it's non-smoking says you'll get fined for smoking except it smells like smoking. Definitely changed in the 10 years since I've been there like they've never upgraded anything or took any kind of maintenance attempt. Didn't think to get any photos.
