Overnight staff was impersonal and directed me to enter through a side door that was far from the elevator and my room. Main entry would have been much more convenient, particularly since I had large, heavy luggage. Also, why no disposable eating utensils? The microwave was useless without them. Other than that, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Morning staff were friendly. This place certainly didn't merit the high rating that attracted me to it. But by furnishing a few commonsense amenities like plates and plasticware, it could. rating that attracted me to it. Bmoreme to it, but

Although the Northfield Inn is an older facility, it is kept up well. The staff was friendly and courteous and the room was clean and well maintained.
