I requested a 2nd floor or above room through Hotels.com. When we arrived at 5:30 pm, we were given a small room on the 1st floor. When I inquired about my request, the clerk said, " We have a full house and there are no other rooms available." So that led me to think they don't even look at those requests. However, the room was ok, and it was quiet, which was my major concern. The hotel is older, and could use some updating. But our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. So it was ok over all.

I called to say hot water doesnt work, they cam right away and said you need to let water run a while. Shower got hot after 12 minutes, but sink was on 15 minutes before I gave up. Thats alot of water wasted . TV very difficult to get on, took 15 minutes, just as long to change a channel. Floor is bumpy. Heat not consistent, gets very hot on 67 then normal 67 back to hot. Bedding was comfortable. Stairs not convenient for disabled person. Loud on room walls.

Check-in was very fast and easy. Concierge was super friendly and nice. The room was good for the price and clean. The parking was easy and I liked that the property was pretty secluded. It means people who are there are meant to be there aren’t just walking by.
