Overall, the stay was good: the place is comfortable, well-located, and the staff was friendly. However, there are a few details that could be improved in the bathroom. The soap dispensers were empty, the shower curtain had mold, and there was no toilet paper upon arrival. Other than that, everything else was fine and it was a pleasant experience. I’m planning to stay again and hope to return soon.

Desk personnel excellent, only negatives is floor was dirty needed mopped. My white socks were very dirty walking around. Needs a clock in room, coffee maker had old grounds left in it so we did not use at all. I would stay here again, price very low for the area, Osteens across the street!

You get what you pay for!

We were greeted by two roaches….thank you, but no thank you. Room smelled musky, we cleaned about 1/2 inch dust of the AC filter. First and last stay here.

I stayed at Budget Inn St. Augustine for one night with a group of friends, and we each had our own rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by its combination of value and convenience. My room was basic, but spotless, with a comfortable bed, TV, microwave, and mini-fridge—everything I needed without unnecessary frills. Free on-site parking was a huge plus (a rare find near downtown). You are not far from the Castillo and wandering St. George Street (just a short walk over the Bridge of Lions). What really stood out was the staff: friendly, super friendly and available at all hours. Though it isn’t a luxury property, its affordability allowed us to spend more on experiences in historic St. Augustine. For a budget-minded group looking for clean, straightforward lodging close to the Old City, Budget Inn is a smart choice.

We stay at this property whenever we stay in St Augustine. It is convenient. My only complaint is the shower did not drain very good. But it did eventually. Love this place.

Stayed here with my family, including younger kids. Room was on the smaller side but perfect for what we needed it for - sleeping and walkability. The location can’t be beat! Only a few minute walk to the Bridge of Lions which takes you right over to Castillo de San Marcos and the historic district of St. Augustine. The owner was so kind and friendly! Definitely recommend!

This property is exactly like the name suggests. It is good value for the area, but not a place you'll want if you spend a lot of time in your room. If you're sightseeing and enjoying the town of St. Augustine, Budget Inn is a perfectly reasonable base camp to go and explore.

Birthday weekend getaway

This is not a luxury hotel however, our room was immaculate and had all the basic essentials. A fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, coffee, etc. Check in was quick and easy. A short walk across the bridge (10 minutes, a quarter mile) and you are in the midst of historic St. Augustine, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. It was perfect!!!! I will stay again.
