Favorite place to stay in St Augustine
This was not my first nor last time there. The level of service and friendliness of the staff has always been great and continues on to this stay as well. Nick at the front desk was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The hotel was being remodeled while I was there this time. Other than the storage of materials in the back parking lot you wouldn't have known. Keep up the great work.

First off upon arrival their system was down. In our first room there were some kind of small bugs in the room. We were given a second room where we had a problem with the refrigerator , maintenance changed it out with no problem. The breakfast was average, the same food everyday. The property is being renovated.

It was undergoing renovation while we were there. However the work was done quickly and the areas being worked on were clearly marked. When painting or dust producing it was draped and did not enter the area being used by the guest. The staff was friendly and professional. They answered questions and were very helpful.

Construction Zone Disaster Area--Stay Away!
Ongoing renovations have made the hotel a place to avoid. Renovated rooms mostly nice, though the in-room refrigerator looks like it was rescued from a dumpster outside of a college dorm. The halls, elevators, and guest laundry room were a wreck. Water was turned off during our stay. Ice machine didn't work--no "out of order" sign. one of two washing machines and dryers didn't work--again no "out of order" sign. No coordination among staff. All problems blamed on absentee owners. Breakfast options awful.

nice place for a great stay
our stay was great, very pleasant. very friendly crew, willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. I will recommend this place to any friend and family without hesitation. There is renovation going on the first floor now. Hopefully very soon it will look very nice. Adding new carpets in hall ways will take the place to the next level.

Or stay was mixed. Well, everyone was friendly and accommodating, I requested a handicap accessible room. When we My room was a handicap accessible one. When we arrived, arrived, there was no bath chair in the shower so I had to request one. The toilet seat was not securely fastened so we made it request for service to fix it. They did that right away. We felt that the pillowcases had not been changed from a prior guest as it smelled like animal.
