When we checked in, our room seemed OK until we tried to run the water in the sink, it wouldn't drain. It was after 11 PM so I went to the front desk and asked for a plunger, I tried for several minutes only to bring up sludge and smelly gunk. The towels were old and dingy. I went to the desk and asked for another room, we moved to another room and the TV didn't work and the sheets were frayed and not clean. I went to the desk and the clerk came and reset the TV and brought a clean set of linens when we changed. This hotel is too nice of a place and location to let little things like this cause people not want to come back.

Staff this morning was unfriendly. One actually scolded me multiple times about waffle maker. The alarm was going off, and she screamed at me to open it up. At that point I was done. Overall the property wasn’t that bad, but won’t be going back due to the inhospitable behavior of staff.

We had a great stay - Staff could not have been more helpful , courteous or welcoming. Check in and check out were efficient and quick. Overall room was clean but it is time to dust the headboards and wash the floors better. The shower was hot but the walls and windows are not well insulated so any outside noise or noise from adjoining rooms you will hear. Easy drive to downtown and the sights and for a quick weekend getaway it fit the bill. The breakfast was simple but filling and the coffee was excellent !
