Okay stay. Definitely needs a better cleaning as my daughter stepped on glass by the bed and cut her foot. Mentioned it to them and got a smile. Not sure if he understood what I was saying.

Don’t waste your money!
Awful hotel. Staff barely spoke English and didn’t really seem to have a clue what he was doing. Room was not clean and smelled like someone had been smoking in. Staff said all rooms non smoking and offered air freshener as a solution. We kept on being woken up through the night from the smell of smoke which would only mean someone was smoking outside in the room next door. They need a smoking area away from the rooms in my opinion.

Horrible, a disaster, needs an update urgently
The photos on your website are fake. The room that was supposed to be non-smoking smelled like cigarettes. The room was dirty, the bathtub was yellowish and you could tell it hadn't been cleaned with hair. The The bed was hard and made noise every time I lay down. We ended up with back pain. The carpet was disgustingly dirty. My husband and I bought Lisol to kill the smell of cigarettes and household products.cleaning so we could stay there, because we could no longer cancel the booking. We asked for another room and they didn't have another "non smoking" one. This stay was truly a nightmare. Do not book at this resort, it is a disaster.

Dirty, outdated and not good value. Furniture at least 30 years old. Washroom had a hole in the ceiling. Everything in the room smelled like smoke. You will hear every single car or truck passing by so if you end up staying here, bring ear plugs. Mattress full of stains. Found someone else’s hair in the bed. Not sure how this place has above 8 average review grade, but definitely fooled me. In summary, definitely not recomended. This was probably the worst stay hotel stay I ever had.

Very basic motel. Other reviews and pictures are kind of misleading. It was ok for the price and the short notice we booked our trip. I would rate it more in the 7 scale, not 8+. Room was fairly clean, but small improvements could be made. On a Main Street, so a little noise, but tolerable.

I had a terrible experience at Merida Hotel. The place was dirty, noisy, and felt more like a rundown motel than a proper hotel. The bathroom smelled awful, and to make matters worse, there was no soap provided. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property were absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find a better option elsewhere!

The room and property are very clean. Great water pressure!! The guy behind the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was good sized, but it could be updated. The worst part was the traffic. It was very loud. There are train tracks outside the motel and we could hear the trains going by. Bring earplugs and you will be fine.

Much more than I expected. The room is VERY CLEAN, it even has a jacuzzi, which I did NOT expect. Amongst the appliances are, refrigerator, and not a little one. Microwave, table and chairs, daybed and plenty of room. The new owners are very kind and accommodating. If I could post photos, I would.
