This property is a very good unique experience. our room was on the 1st floor. It was wonderful to sit just outside our room to see all of the amenities available in the rear of the property and see people coming and going. We will definitely stay there again, when we are in the area. We are from outside of Atlanta.

One of the main reasons we booked this place was that it said we'd get a welcome drink and free gift upon check-in. When I asked about these amenities, they looked at me like I had two heads. Felt like false advertising right off the bat. Bed had dried blood on the sheets - when we told the front desk, they said, "You had blood on your sheets, too?" Who else had blood?!?

Nice property. The 2nd floor is a walk-up, no elevator. The staff is friendly & helpful. However, the cleaning staff don't speak English. The beach is across a 2 lane road. Traffic is generally light, but speeds are at 45 to 50 MPH, so crossing to get to the beach can be dicey. The property is kept up nicely overall, but I'd say it was built in the 50's or 60's. It's relatively close to the attractions, 15 to 20 minute drive. The same for restaurants.

Be aware! Non refundable. It was nothing like they showed online. We were not able to stay in those conditions, the manager Jay was contacted by Expedia to mention the health situation to no avail. I tried to contact him, never a response. Immediately charged the full amount claiming early check out. An opportunity to talk would have been good. That is a manager responsibility. Never again!!

the room was perfect. we were able to walk across the road straight onto the beach. I will warn others there is a 40 per day parking fee and there are some items in the room that are additional costs. however that will not deter me from going back

I had a great time! Silese and Nick/AJ at the front desk were very helpful and nice. I loved the beach, which is right across the street (just be careful and patient when crossing, it's a two lane 40mile/h road, but if you wait, there'll be times with no vehicles coming either direction-that's based in my stay in Oct. 2025). They also provide complimentary sunscreen and an external shower and hose, which I was glad to have so I could clean up my bike after riding on the beach (so much fun!) and get the sand off my feet. I stayed on a ground floor unit that was nice and clean, I liked the porch, facing the wetlands and beautiful sunsets. It was just a short drive to the historic district. Breakfast was amazing, and Yari made sure the room was fresh and clean. The surrounding area was quiet, which was perfect for me.
