Quiet and Clean
We enjoyed our stay. We have been to St. Augustine many times and have never stayed here before. However, we will be back. This is a very quuet and clean place. Downtown is only a few minutes away.

The staff was great, as was the breakfast. Its location makes it super easy to get to downtown St. Augustine or the beach (both are less than 10 mins. away) by car, AND the shuttle was a nice option, running every 20 minutes or so until 10pm. It was definitely winter when I visited, So I didnt swim. Nevertheless, the pool area was beautiful and well maintained. Southern Oaks seems great for dogs, with tons of outdoor room to run around, play frisbee, and treats at the front desk! Taco Libre next door is delicious and the drug stores across the street makes it convenient for just about anything. Really friendly place.

Great value!
This is always a great stay for us, we stay here every time we come into town! The remodeled rooms are great! They have added a lot of new tech updated that needed to happen. Like USB and USB-C ports in the head board which are a nice touch. A/C and heat work GREAT!!!! Road noise is very small considering your on US-1. They have a shuttle that takes you to downtown and back 10am-10pm love that touch. Beds are comfy and sheets are clean and pillows are great! Our room had issues with wifi but that’s not the end of the world, as you have a great signal. Breakfast is amazing here buffet style and good food and options. Only down side is the cafeteria fills up fast on the weekend, and you can’t take your food to your room. Would be nice if there was an options for us to do that when the cafeteria gets filled up. Safe area as well. Staff are fantastic and answer any and all questions. Room lighting would benefit from warm lighting as well. Overall we love this hotel and will always stay here!! Keep it up.

Hidden Gem
This is an amazing location located just outside the main downtown area of St Augustine. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast delicious with many options, and the service was excellent as well. The free shuttle bus was also a very nice and welcome surprise!

Wonderful place, especially if you’re traveling with a dog, they cater nicely to pets. The location was a little away from center, which made it nice. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was nice and the staff friendly. Nice little dog park for the dogs as well.

Upon arrival our room was not ready. We had to wait until 4:45pm to access one of our rooms. The headphones we left in our room were stolen by housekeeping. I have reported the issue several times to the office staff and no one in the office staff seems to care. It is very difficult to get ahold of someone in the front desk. You have to leave messages and wait for a call back. I even called and left a message for the general manager and I am still waiting for an answer from him. I have stayed at this hotel 3x and I have never had an issue with this. It’s very sad that you have to go to a hotel and either have your room not receive room service or have to hide your things so that they are not taken from the INSIDE of your room.

Pet-less in a pet friendly hotel
Our room (#275) was in a bldg where the rooms were being partially remodeled. We had trouble with the shower leaking onto the bathroom floor due to the shower curtain being way too short. The floors/rugs were dirty as our white socks were black. Breakfast was typical hotel fare, although the hot items were not self serve. Shuttle into historical district was a definite plus.
