Sierra Motel
Fairly basic unit but had everything we needed. Could park right outside unit. There was a hose out the back for washing our bikes after our ride on the A2O section so that was a plus. Walking distance down to the pub & shops.

Very basic cabin type accommodation. Good value for a good overnight rest. The room was clean. The staff was nice. No mountain views to speak of but only an hour from Mount Cook.

Otematata's Best Dam Pub
Great staff and food. Funny layout in our room - had to move the couch to watch TV. The worst thing on a stinking hot day was the warm beer in the bar! Would stay again.

Hawkdun Lodge
Clean room, nice linen, comfortable. Bike room to store our bikes. Walking distance to the pub for dinner plus general store for breakfast provisions ( also available onsite as an extra).
