The hotel was in an excellent location on a bus route and had sea views. The staff team was exceptional. The food was very good and plentiful. The hotel was very clean and spacious.

The room was clean and very comfortable, with a great balcony and excellent daily room cleaning service. My only gripe would be that, for the price, I feel we should have had a fridge in the room and a safe to put our valuables.

My stay at the Hotel Ambassadeur was excellent except the air-con unit outside my window didn't turn off until after midnight and it was quite noisy.

Good holiday but!

Hotel was good,very clean, excellent staff In all departments. Food was good plenty of it. Only trouble was mobility scooter wouldn't go in lift .by 2 inches, so lift door wouldn't shut. It was a normal scooter for a large adult and goes in all other lifts. Never had a problem before. Consequently husband who is disabled couldn't get to room Manager extremely apologetic, said would find a way. Finally provided a wheelchair to get him from check in to room, but l had to push him. 18stone on carpet .and l am quite small killed my back by end of holiday. Backwards and forwards to dining room and to go out to scooter, kept in lobby. They did their level best to help but it spoilt the holiday because it was such an effort to push husband around in hotel. That's why he had a mobility scooter.we did check before we booked holiday and was told it should be fine.

Good enjoyable stay.

The staff are superb, welcoming, friendly and great service. Definitely needs air conditioning as the room was warm even with the windows open and fan running. Breakfast was good may be worth adding mushrooms to the cooked breakfast and the option of black pudding to make it more like a full breakfast. Plenty of parking. Good location on the seafront. Plenty of space and chairs in the relaxation areas.

The property was ideally located for exploring the island. The sea view rooms gave amazing views across the bay, albeit across one of the main roads to the east of the island. Each room has a fan. There is no air conditioning. The rooms face the afternoon sun so do get warm but can be ventilated as the window slides open. The rooms were spacious as was the bathroom and our request for an accessible room was accommodated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with various options and they do offer a la carte evening meals but we chose to eat out. There is a good size car park behind the hotel. Having previously stayed at other hotels on the island, this one offers very good value for money and is one I'd come back to in the future.

Excellent service and a lovely hotel

The whole hotel was clean and my room was comfortable. The staff working here were very friendly and professional, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The decor is a bit dated however that doesn't bother me. The lounge room had a selection of seats and it was pleasant being able to watch the sea from a comfy seat. The location was spot on for me, a 30 minute walk from St Helier or a short bus journey

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the waiting staff during breakfast. The cleanliness was excellent and housekeeping did a great job. The room was lovely although the bathroom was dated, the shower was fairly poor and the corridor areas clearly need modernising to match the standard of the restaurant area. Great location and would stay again however I couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed after seeing the photos on the website and them not totally reflecting reality. That being said, it was lovely touch that we were given a food parcel to take with us due to our very early checkout.

Very friendly staff

Hotel is extremely clean. Very comfortable bed. It has a lovely lounge/ bar area where you can sit and relax. Adult and child swimming pool is clean and well kept, with sun loungers surrounding the pool. A small games room with a pool table and table football. Beautiful views of the beach/ sea. All staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Small marks and Spencer’s located 2 minutes walk from the hotel, where you can buy basic supplies. Highly recommend this hotel, my son loved the kids swimming pool as it is suitable for non swimmers.

The staff are lovely. Breakfast was very good. We had a sea view room, which was great ( opening patio windows). The bus stop is nearby and the service is regular. M&S food around the corner. Great value for money.

Food excellent. Lounge and bar area excellent. Staff very helpful and smart. Rooms very dated and need a revamp. Hot water coming out of cold tap. Taps on avocado coloured bath not connected but good shower above bath. Floor seemed to be heated in mid July so bathroom far too hot. Bedroom floor seemed heated in places near radiator although at least radiator not on.

Superb Beach Front Hotel

Fantastic hotel . We booked a room with an amazing sea view. Lovely big bed and shower room with table and chairs to enjoy the beach/ sea view. The room was serviced each day and was spotless. The breakfast was delicious each morning in a lovely room again with sea views. We also booked dinner one evening and was excellent and great value. The staff were very friendly/ polite and hardworking. We also used the outdoor pool twice which is a nice addition. Overall a great experience and will definitely return .

Lovely sea view. Staff were very helpul and friendly, particularly Keffas and reception. Very clean and well kept No noise, comfortable room, gentle sea lulls you to sleep. Large mugs for tea & coffee were high on the list. Pool was pristine and just the right temp.
