This hotel was pretty rundown. Definitely needs an update. One of the nightstands was filthy and sticky like drinks had been sitting on them and had dripped on it. I had to wash down the end table and the bathroom countertop. The mattress was the least comfortable we’ve ever been on. Upon arriving, the staff was very nice, but that’s about the best thing I can say about the hotel. The free breakfast is very limited no hot food at all and the orange juice was warm to say the least. Wish I could give it a better rating, but I can’t.

The hotel that time forgot

Almost everything in this hotel needed updating, from the dingy towels to the saggy mattress, stained boxspring and threadbare sheets, not to mention the ancient microwave and dented mini fridge that made loud noises periodically throughout the night. The pool and hot tub were open but the railings were all dangerously loose and they were unable to come up with more than two towels. Things were clean enough, just well past their optimal lifespan. We passed on breakfast. Best I can say is this hotel was very convenient, but next time I’d drive back to Hurricane for a more comfortable stay at a lower price.

Once was enough!

We had three rooms, one had garbage left behind from the previous stay. One had a toilet that wouldn’t flush, and the other one had a sewer smell. The front desk didn’t seem at all like they cared about the smell when we asked to be moved to another room. He told us that’s the first he’s ever heard of a smell in that room and there was nothing they could do about it. The rooms are outdated. The towels give you a nice microdermabrasion they are so old and out dated. The “free breakfast” was bagels with no cream cheese and some fruit. Probably won’t stay here ever again!

The property has an overall feeling of needing repair and upkeep. Breakfast was scary. Community milk. I tried 4 boiled eggs and each one had a white that was caramel colored. Never seen that before! Of course threw them all away.

I stayed here a couple of nights, the room was okay and spacious. I had requested a ground floor room because my dog had some stitches on his belly and was limited in his activity level. They were out of ground floor rooms the first night, it looked very busy. However, the next two nights the parking lot was nearly empty and they still would not move me to another room as I requested. They claimed that they were still full which was obviously not true. My dog ended up tearing his stitches open climbing the stairs to the room and I had to go to an emergency vet at night to get him into surgery. I ended up spending an extra $700 and more trauma to my dog because the front desk could not be bothered to move me to another room. I thank them for being pet friendly, but when accessibility and safety is an issue they do not take it seriously. Pretty much ruined our vacation after that. Oh, and also the smoke detector in my room had the cover taken off and no battery, this is highly illegal and very dangerous.

The room was filthy. The carpet was terribly dirty and the bedding stunk. There was even a burn in the bedspread (looked to be a cigarette burn). I stayed in the room maybe 4 hours is all. I didn't even shower because the towels were a dirty gray and there was a huge black ring around the tub. I am embarrassed if this property is owned by Wyndham. We have condo shares with Worldmark by Wyndham that are great! That company would never rent rooms that needed condemned!

Check in was very good. Had a very friendly gentleman greet us and checked us in promptly. Room was nice and clean exactly what we expected. The only complaint I would have is the lighting in the room is poor - the bathroom sink area has no lighting tough to shave etc without some sort of light.

Pet friendly?

The $20/pet fee created an unexpected last minute expense. When shopping for price with pets, it would help to have the pet fee published along with the room fee. There is no designated pet area and no waste removal bags provided to support the claim of pet friendly. Bags should be provided when such a substantial fee is being charged.

It was terribly dirty room. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well for a very long time. The baseboards were so caked with dirt, the doors hadn’t been wiped down in months… the shower had hair and a dirty wash cloth still hanging on the shower rod. There were bugs smeared in the mirror and the bedding was from 1970. I asked for the room to be cleaned while we were there and that didn’t happen as well as needed more towels and didn’t get them until 9 pm after asking for them 4 times. It was a disgusting stay and we won’t ever be back. Door lock needs attention and the entire room needs cleaning and updating!! Room number was 105 on the bottom floor stayed March 28-30 2025, Karma Peterson. Wyndim Suites should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this place! Definitely a dive in the hotel world!!!!

There were holes in the bedspread and a cigarette burn in the headboard in my nonsmoking room. The microwave display was broken. I could hear someone snoring in an adjacent room. The door of my room was difficult to close and was left ajar after housekeeping cleaned. The parking lot lines are so narrow that it was impossible to fit my car in one space. Do not recommend and will not return.
