The buccaneer inn is a very basic, no frills motel. But its convenient location to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants makes it a great place to stay. I have been staying there for over 30 years. We love the pool area also

This property is on the beach and built of concrete and the room walls are cement blocks because of the annual threat of hurricanes. The room was large but not a warm feeling or decorated. I didn't want to spend much time there. It was clean. However, thru Expedia we had a great room location - the second room from the Gulf.

We loved the ease of checking and friendly staff. Coffee in front office daily. They offer needs foe the kitchen just ask. I would change the beds to be pillow tops to make this a 10 star stay. But we loved being close the beach and pool. Cooking when we wanted something. SGI is adorable. Will go back when its warmer.
