I had a last minute overnight in Grenada after being re-booked out of Jamaica to escape Hurricane Melissa. Given that I was arriving close to 11pm and leaving first thing in the morning, I sought something not too far from the airport, and not too expensive, since I wouldn't be able to enjoy any facilities. Siesta Hotel ticked the boxes and even listed complimentary airport shuttle on their website. I managed to send an email while I was in transit through Trinidad to request the shuttle for my late night arrival, and the hotel confirmed that they would send a taxi for me that would cost US$20. I thought OK, this is because it's very late. The young woman at reception late at night very kindly checked me in and took me to my room. For my 8am return to the airport, it was the same taxi for $20 again. I asked about the free shuttle service and was told that didn't exist. So maybe that should be removed from the website. The room was clean, though dated. It would have been a nice touch to have at least one small bottle of water in the room, considering I got there at 11pm and of course the restaurant was closed.
