The room smelled of pet hair and very musty. The door to the bathroom would not close either. The breakfast area was musty smelling and dirty. The outside area tables were dirty too. Did not even look at the lounge chairs to see what they looked like. For the amount charged, this was one of the worst stays I've experienced. Baymont usually has a good reputation so all of this really surprised me. Sorry for my honesty

The view of the lake from the property was amazing and there was a nice deck off of our room with a table. The room for 6 people was very spacious. The pool was cold but appeared clean but the room could have used more ventilation. The breakfast was a hot breakfast but was limited.

Great location on the water. We had a suite for three adult travelers, the room was very spacious and perfect for our needs. Only thing to consider is the fact it is 2 stories and an elevator is not available. Beautiful view with numerous sitting options outside.

This hotel has no elevators, very weird set up. Tv did not work and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Air conditioning very loud. Breakfast area dirty. I recommend not staying here. Pictures make it look nice but isn’t!

The room looked clean but smelled so strong of cheap air freshener I got such a sinus headache it was terrible. Our tv didn’t work and they couldn’t get it to work so just left us without a tv. The hallways and stairways were not cleaned well. Sorry but this was a No for me.

Room smelled like mildew, especially when wall unit AC kicked on. Shower curtain had mildew on it. Floors when dirty and nasty… do not walk in your bare feet in the rooms. Pillows were small square, decorative type pillows. Beds uncomfortable.

The hotel was run down. Needs updating! Pool and hot tub were dirty. Breakfast was ok. Kayaks need help, broken and missing paddles. The area outside needs cleaning. Patio doors were in need of desperate repair. Vathroom exhaust fan was screaming and noisy has been replaced since the 80s and it shows! Staff was friendly but basic communication was difficult for the most part. I would not stay again, i would go to the hilton next door and pay more for the updates and cleanliness.

It was nice to have a sandy area for the kids to enter the water. I did not like that our suite was fully carpeted and, although I know it's not controllable, the geese poop makes it impossible to walk in the grass.

This place is in need of updating and a groundskeeper. The hot tub was cold and our room was weirdly difficult to get to. (132) The sliding door in our room was broken and it was as if the room was locked in a 1980’s time capsule. The beds were clean. We suspect a mouse was in the room as there were droppings in a food bag we left on the floor. Hope this helps.

Our door frame looked like it was mauled by a dog, very torn up. There were lots of bugs in the shower basin. There were tons of dead bugs stuck to the ceiling in the eating area. The carpet in the room turned my white socks black. The outlet and nightstand light did not work. It was not worth the $240 for the night!
