Wow wow wow! Absolutely amazing location and Breathtaking beach view from our balcony! Discount Shepler’s ferry tickets available at the front desk. Feeey xoooany comes to get you - just tell the front guest and they’ll come get you in a few minutes. Complementary s’mores every night! Hotel was very clean, but does need some updating. Inconvenient that the checkin/complementary breakfast buffet is in a separate building from where you stay. But it was fine. They offer golf cart rides if you are at a far building. Swingset on beach. Outside and inside pools. Great place for kids! Super happy the hotel room door doesn’t auto shut while you’re trying to load/unload stuff and just get in and out in general. Has outdoor hallways, kinda like a motel, but this is far from it. Definitely a resort!

Good motel near the lake. The water pressure in the shower head needs to be addressed. Breakfast choices were very good. Lots of options to choose from. The man driving the golf cart each morning was a wonderful addition. Was very friendly.

We love that this place is located right on Lake Huron plus has both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. We have the best time every time we visit!

Great place but too much waste!

When are hotels going to start addressing their waste problems? The Best Western Harbour Pointe is not unlike many hotels of its type - serving breakfast on disposable tableware. First of all, the breakfast was kind of gross. The eggs were probably made from powder. Then there's the waste: Plates, cups, silverware - all single use and all thrown away. The garbage in the breakfast area was overflowing. I would think that, to the tune of $350 a night, they could do better. Despite this, the property was really cool with a central open area along the beach. It was a smart move to create this space. And it appeared that every hotel room had a view of the lake. We were in the Michigan building right next to the water. The room was clean and just the right size. Everyone we encountered who worked there was friendly and helpful.

We had a very bad experience staying here. The room was not cleaned well. There were several spiders and webs on the wall in the bedroom. The toilet had feces on the lid. The toilet seat was broken and sliding off every time we tried to use it. The bathroom sink would not drain. It was very disappointing after spending so much for our room. The room was dark, gloomy, and not well lit at all. The location was great as we were the closest building to the water and the balcony was wonderful. The location is extremely close to the ferry to Mackinac Island which is why we chose to stay here but regrettably we will never stay here again. If you choose to stay here, avoid room 348.

Perfect place for a family gathering or reunion. Easy transportation to the island and plenty to do when staying on property. Saturday night summer fireworks are spectacular. Would definitely stay here again.

Room had an aadjoining door to a room of teenagers. We traveled with our teens but these kids were so loud-yelling, laughing, pounding on walls, slamming doors. It lasted from 10pm-1am. Called 2 noise complaints to front desk, both nights we stayed. Otherwise room was very nice. I would request a non-adjoining room next time.
