Very convenient location, but parking can be tricky- especially at peak times.
Big plus- dog friendly
The hotel is quite dated inside. We did not eat there, we ate out. A great base if you like being out and about.
Our room was close to the lift so early morning and late in the evening, we could hear the comings and goings.
Tv and hairdryer in the room a bonus
Overall, good value for money.
Good value for money, but I would have rather spend more and sleep in a more comfortable bed.

Poor, tired hotel needs a refurb. I wouldn’t mind if it was a cheaper price but for this money it’s not acceptable.
Really good staff, not their fault but the chain that owns this lovely old hotel needs a wake up call.
Wonderful place to stay with a nice homely feel & stunning sea views. We loved our spacious room & watching the sea from the window while drinking tea ☺️☕️. All staff at the hotel are warm & friendly. St Ives is one of nicest places in the UK to visit for sure! & the beaches are beautiful. We will look forward to returning to this hotel. Thank you 🙋♀️
Me & my mum had a lovely time staying at this homely hotel with stunning sea views. Excellent location. Heated beautifully & cosy over the Christmas period & with lots of nice Christmas trees & decorations. Definitely somewhere we will look forward to returning to. Thank you very much 💕
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very nice stay

Such a pity
Nice hotel within easy walking distance to the beaches, eateries and pubs. Staff very pleasant and the dog was made very welcome. However, the down side was our room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was an empty dog food pouch from what I guess was from the previous occupier, rubbish in the toilet and dirty used tissue paper next to the tea and coffee. To top things off the ceiling paper is coming away from the ceiling...... And though adequate the hot water which was virtually non existent only ran at a trickle. Luckily the breakfast was very nice. Big shame. Helios
This hotel is very run down and in need of an upgrade. Our bathroom I could hear that there is a blockage in the drains as I’m a plumber and know what it sounds like , the shower screen is missing a section causing water to splashed all over the floor. The beds were very wobbly and mattresses are very worn as you sink into the middle of the bed , my bed felt as though I was in a dentist’s chair. More pillows could have been made available. I’m sorry but I will never book into this hotel again. I know the room was only £46 but that doesn’t mean you should rent out sub standard rooms.
