Absolutely the most terrible vacation experience we have ever had. The check in staff was so rude and demeaning. We got there a day late and was still told we couldn’t get into our room that we were paying for until 3 due to procedure. This is after traveling for 33 hours and the airline losing our luggage. Our room keys stopped working the first night, I had to walk down there 3 times before they sent someone to fix the problem which was the battery in the door. I kept being told I had demagnetized it with my phone. So hateful and rude. The air conditioner in our room did not work until the last night there and that was after maintenance had fixed it 4 times. We requested two fans and never received them, requested a room change and was told there was nothing available. Whoever manages that check in staff should be ashamed of themselves. There were a couple of kind employees in the concierge that we were grateful for but I would rather stay at a not so great property and be treated with a little human decency. I would never recommend this Royalton to anyone.
