Staff was very accommodating. Lots of security. Close to everything shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Main street was closed for "pedestrian mall" so no traffic noise. Street musicians were good too.
It's different than a chain. Warm and cozy feeling. Look fits the theme while being modern enough. Only concern is the 4th floor on the main building has no elevator access. You go to the 3rd floor then walk up. That's fine for me, maybe not for others. Can't ask for a better spot I the city though.
Great Hotel, Warm and Cozy Feel to the rooms with everything needed provided. Bathroom was spacious and very useable. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Breakfast offered could have a greater selection but was adequate. Stayed on the fourth floor of the main building which requires you to walk up the last flight of stairs. Elevator will only take you as far as the third.
This Place surprised us! Parking was easy and gated. The Check in was quick. There is soft old timey music playing in the hallways which give a nice feel when you walk into.
The room was a total surprise, from the new shower, the jacuzzi and the large bed. We wanted to stay more then the one place we booked. The area is a short walk to everything needed. Dining/shopping/harbor views.
Loved our stay, Will book it next time too.

Elevator needs some work. Makes quite a clunk when it starts. Rode up to our floor with a staff member who said she does' nt like the sound when it starts. We used the stairs most times. Only used the elevator when checking in with our luggage.
There was rodents on 2nd floor. Seen twice. This is disturbing considering this is where staff would retrieve the food and coffee for breakfast.
Reservation was messed up abd I ended up paying for a night at a higher rate. Overall would not return . Staff were great and friendly but language barrier was a real thing, the location was very difficult to find via maps for the entrance the first evening . The building is old , smelly, parking not available most of the time , needs many upgrades including flooring (actually carpet cleaner would probably make an improvement) overall very very disappointed. Will never return and think Expedia should call me since I requested it days ago via email . 7096326861
