The Murray is an older hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms are nice and different than a regular layout with a very large bathroom and a fireplace. The lighting is very dark and there’s only one window in the room. That was my only issue. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location wise this is probably the best hotel to walk around downtown st. Johns.

This is a very comfortable hotel and I would stay there again. The price was good. The decor and facilities are just a bit dated and tired, but if the goal is a comfortable bed in a quiet, safe and central location then this is a good choice

Well it is unique. Room 311 should have a hand rail to get in and out of tub …..I’m over 6 ft but still had to watch my step Case goods need repair or replacement….good nite sleep

Convenient and charming hotel.

A really nice hotel in the heart of downtown. It was my first stay here and I will definitely return and recommend it to others. The room was very spacious, comfortable,clean, quiet with all the modern conveniences while keeping the charm of a historic fishing premises. Staff were great and parking was right next to the front door. The complimentary coffee/tea kitchen and included continental breakfast were a bonus.
