Located in downtown area, making it walkable to dining, shops, and the Mary Brown’s Centre (sports complex). Vehicle parking on hotel premises. Felt very safe with Hotel and parking both gated areas, requiring key card access to enter after 9pm. Great continental breakfast included with several food and beverage choices. Building has an interesting history with beautifully aged brick and timber frame interior structures. Only negative is my pillow. It was made with small pieces of foam, which was somewhat uncomfortable. Staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Murray Premises twice now and would absolutely stay here again. The location is excellent with easy access by foot to Water Street and George Street. The hotel has lots of character. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We especially liked the added touch of the tower dryer in the bathroom.

Great stay. Very reasonable price for a large but cosy attic room, complete with a fireplace, and a jetted bathtub. Breakfast was included but was pretty basic for the quality of the hotel, but everything else was great!

Lovely location and atmosphere
Lovely building, quiet, and comfy bed. Staff was friendly and courteous. Towels, bedding and overall room were clean but there were visible water streaks and handprints on bathroom walks. Just felt a little neglected. Room could also use some optional brighter lighting. Enjoyed the location - was able to walk the area and find nice shops and restaurants. Would stay here again and do more exploring by foot.

This hotel has history and character. The room I had was big and comfortable. However there is virtually no sound insulation so bring your ear plugs if you do not want to hear guest in other rooms. The breakfast is grab and go (muffins, whole fruits, cereal bars and Keurig coffee). If you want a regular breakfast, there are options closeby. The hotel is otherwise well located and parking is easy and free.
