Luxury stay at Hyatt Regency Malta!

Review for Hyatt Regency Malta + Halal food (if applicable to you) Hotel Hyatt - fantastic hotel, location and the amazing staff, especially the front house reception team. If you are considering a holiday, i would highly recommend Hyatt Regency Malta. If you are a frequent traveller, I'm sure you know the Hyatt brand offer luxury high end 5 star hotels and this is one of them. Location Opposite the bay street shopping centre! We didn't go for the bars or night life ilbut if you are into drinking, this is also a great location for you. The location was perfect for us as it had plenty of food options. Halal KFC, halal kebab factory, Halal burgers at Hugo burgers and pizza hut. When you are travelling with children, unfortunately you need a bit of western food to keep them happy. Parking a hired vehicle Free parking in the bay street car park! This was perfect for us as we hired a car from Eurocars. I went prepared with a dash cam and downloaded the malta maps on my tomtom device Key points from me 24hr indoor pool 24hr gym 9 till 9 steam room and ice room Roof top pool and bar Hotel room Luxury, comfortable beds and a spotless bathroom with a rain shower Breakfast- outstanding and a wide variety so you will not be disappointed. They also have halal sausages and halal turkey ham Mouthwatering omelets and poached eggs Once again, the hotel made our holiday enjoyable. I will 100% return here again for my future travels.

The Sauna is too small for the amount of guesses and the shower and swimming pool are in a different area where people have to walk throughout a different area by passing the health suite reception through another door with approximately 20 meters in between. There is a ice room next to the Sauna that was out of use throughout our stay

Lovely room, bed and bathroom. There was some dust on the headboard but otherwise room was cleaned well each day. Breakfast was great with lots and lots of choice. I ordered a dessert on my last evening which sadly was not well made (pannacotta had been in fridge too long and was solid). Disappointed but I sent it back and got another dessert which was ok but not great (poached pears) and got a hot chocolate on the house. (Best dessert was lemon fondant!). Service is very good and all staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Indoor pool was not very deep but pleasant otherwise, sauna was good. Outdoor seating area is lovely and lots of indoor seating space. Hotel is right opposite Bay shopping complex which was really convenient. I did enjoy my stay but think perhaps dessert menu needs reviewing. I gather this is classed as a 5 star hotel, I would've expected a higher quality of desserts given the rating and price of hotel.

This was my first time to visit Malta and so happy that I stayed at Hyatt Regency over Christmas. The staff were amazing throughout and as a coeliac , took extra care with preparing gluten free sandwiches. My room was modern, clean had amazing views and the bed so very comfortable. There was a minor fault with the electrics in my room and it was fixed straight away and the next day a bottle of wine and chocolates were delivered to my room as an apology. The customer service at Hyatt Regency is top notch. I’ll definitely stay there on my next visit to Malta.
