The Melbourne Inn is a gifted find on the South coast of the island It is in a great spot for using the Gap and the surrounding south coast beaches The staff are welcoming and friendly Nothing is too much for them The make you feel like family We will definitely stay here again

I would stay here again when I come back to Barbados, but had a bit of an issue at first, they did not have a room because of maintenance concerns. So they put me in a Sister hotel that was absolutely horrible. I guess it was not MELBOURNE‘s fault But it sure did put a cramp for the week.

Staff was friendly. The facility looks old.This wouldn’t be a place you’d choose for a vacation. However, this place was sufficient for being in Barbados for business purposes and you need a budget friendly inn.

Attentive professional staff. I felt at hone in this modest hotel. Safe area close to the beach. (Short walk). A number of friendly bars, a market store, breakfast options nearby. I will definitely be back. Thanks!

I booked this hotel for my friend who had a late night flight into Barbados and an early morning appointment. The price was reasonable and from the pictures, it appeared to be decent. The room could use an upgrade but was clean, and though the Inn is located down an alley, it’s still close to town and easily accessible. Unfortunately, the welcome received from the staff upon arrival that night left a lot to be desired. The saving grace here is that the front desk personnel who were there in the morning were very polite and helpful. Suggestion: ensure that all persons have the training to maintain the brand, day or night.

There is a garbage bin at the front entrance which reeks, while staying there was painting being done and the odor of the paint was unbearable. It rained one day and the roof of the room was leaking. The area is convenient, lots of entertainment spots, the beach and easy access to public transportation.
