The standard room was very poor value for the money!

10/10 holiday 7/10 property. Location to Liberty square excellent only 5 minutes. Clean and tidy if starting to look a bit worn in places. Good shower, nice to have washing machine and dishwasher. Had a bit of a caravan feel with the odd bits of kitchen equipment, you know, 6 spoons 3 forks, 4 knives, 5 cups 3 tin openers 😂. The property is close to the back of a row of bars/restaurants and the bin men collect the glass at 4am and then the cleaners arrive to fill the bins up again at 6am. Very noisy in this hot weather when the windows are open so ear plugs were needed. Won’t be an issue in cooler weather with the windows shut! Jersey is a must visit, amazing place so much to see and explore.

Rooms were clean but very outdated. Shower wasn't thermostatically controlled so was hot then cold. Towels were small, old and thin. No air conditioning in the room so was very hot, only a fan moving the hot air around, even though with all the windows open it didn't cool the room and the noise from outside kept you awake. Carpets in the hallway were stained and ripped. The swimming pool had tiles missing around the edge and the bottom of the pool and not heated. The buffet style breakfast wasn't kept full after 9.30am even though breakfast was until 10am, the cooked breakfast was adequate but nothing special, fresh fruit was tinned pears or tinned peaches and a bowl with apples, bananas and oranges. The waffles and pancakes couldn't be warmed in the toaster so they were cold. If you wanted to book dinner in the restaurant you had to let them know by 5pm. If you opened an account, they take £200 from your card straight away and if you have a balance to return, it takes 30 days to refund your money.(doesn't sound like an account then, as you are paying up front). Overall the Hotel looks nice from the outside, but they need to spend some money on bringing the rooms up to date.

Stunning hotel Tea making facilities were quite basic and the rooms were sooo hot because of the heatwave. I understand it’s old and no AC but they need better fans / ventilation. The pool was gorgeous and good facilities otherwise and lovely staff

Bedrooms we had were HOT, No A/C. Small fan in room to blow hot air around. Generally the hotel seems to be in a state of constant repair. We had booked two rooms, neither TV worked. One didn’t switch on at all, the other switched on and gave sound, but had no picture - not ideal during a World Cup. I even went down to front desk, no one there but a sign giving a number to call, called the number got an answering machine. No parking on site and very hard to find parking in that area, but found parking garage (green st) not too far away (10 min walk). Overall staff were friendly and location for ocean proximity is great, but would not race to stay here again.
