It was disappointing to walk into hotel and see dirty carpeted stairs, glasses from the night before left in the pool and health club areas and a bathroom barn door that didn't close all the way in our room. No towels were available for pool use, we were told by the rude attendant to use our room towels and it was quite a process to get extra clean towels to use after showers. This hotel has a lot of potential but was underwhelming. I would not stay here again.

Cool, hip downtown spot!

First time staying here and aside from a few issues, it was a worthwhile stay. Hotel is an old YMCA that has been modernized and upgraded in a major way! Food options are worthy and showcased art is a nice bonus. Pool is also great! Except for a few “misses”this place would be Excellent.

Good for a fun getaway weekend

The hotel is charming, built in the old YMCA building with a restored fitness pool, hot tub and sauna. Be aware that there is no free breakfast, hotels.com will list it was an option for an extra $3 but there is no free buffet style breakfast but there is an overpriced trendy breakfast cafe in the hotel, the coffee was great but the food took an hour to make and was not worth the price in my opinion. The tv in the room also does not have streaming services, you have to connect to their wifi and stream from your phone which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. Just provide simple tv options that play netflix/spotify on the tv.

The hotel is beautiful, bar and restaurant are lovely, the hot tub, pool, and fitness area were great. The housekeeping was not thorough (forgot to leave coffee cups day 2, and didn't have conditioner). I had to go down to the desk to get these as they didn't have staff available to bring them up. Otherwise, great.

My 5 day stay in STL

This was my first time in STL. I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. The service was nice. I really enjoyed the hotel amenities such as the pool and gym. I went to the gym almost every day. I also like the location because it was walking distance to the arch and other downtown attractions.

The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room was clean, the valet was super convenient, and the food was delightful. We loved the pool and the art museum. The only complaint was our shower door wouldn't fully close. It was a minor inconvenience that did not greatly impact our stay.

Saddened by how bad this hotel has become! Stayed here a year ago and was great. Bathroom was filthy dirty, when floor was wiped with a towel it was black, and orange mold growing in the shower corners. Bed sheet had dried blood on it. I spoke and showed pictures to two managers who feigned interest but did absolutely nothing about it. Shame, most of the staff was fanatic and such a cool building.
