An obnoxious smell inside rooms and hallways, which I assume was a cleaning agent of some kind. Very strange smell that permeates the place. Hotel offers no coffee or snacks for guests and very limited dining options besides a McDonald’s convenience store within walking distance.

I am an honest person, so here's a honest review. The place itself was pretty great. Room was nice, location was ideal, full kitchenette was useful and enough cutlery and stuff provided to use it all. Bed was comfy, and my room smelled like nothing, which is a plus. The company itself. Sonesta suites, seems to have a really opaque idea of what "Pet Friendly" means. I booked this location 4 months in advance, and CALLED IT to confirm that i could travel with my 2 cats. I've done this for years, but i always call to confirm. I asked for manager and confirmed, yes, but there was a max fee of 150 per week. All good. So i booked the location. We had major car trouble OTW and got in at 2 am. Checked in and went to bed. At 7 am, the phones in our room started ringing, but when we picked up no one was there. Then shortly after, someone unlocked our door and tried to barge in (our safety lock was engaged) A man yelled to let him in, and my Girlfriend in her night gown got up to this man yelling at us that we need to leave now or they would call the police, apparently because we had cats with us. Cats that we had confirmed. 4 months ago. We also yelled at because the night man had accidentally upgraded our room to one with a couch and that we needed to pay for that, even though thats not what my prepaid receipt says. okay. This is not acceptable behavior for a hotel. Threaten me and try to bust into my room?

All flights were cancelled and we didn't reach the hotel until after 1:00 a.m. Every hotel was sold out within a 20 mile radius. We were so fortunate to run into the kindest and most helpful young man that had just cleaned a room and offered it to us as we sat in the lobby trying to find a new game plan for the night/morning. He had clearly been working very hard and it was late, yet was so kind, joyful, knowledgeable, and professional. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, which is exactly what we needed.

Don’t do business with Expedia if you can’t properly communicate your property is sold out. A lot of people looking from rooms from cancelled flights. Lyft/uber there to a non refundable hotel room. Find out after I get there they were sold out. I even got an offer to “upgrade” rooms from the “property” through Expedia. Drop Expedia or figure out how to properly operate.
