Super nice staff, the back entrance was a bit dark but no steps, the front entrance with steps faced a huge Ferris Wheel that made it very easy to locate this hotel after walking around downtown! Comfortable seating areas for the nice breakfast- liked the oatmeal- and the 'kickback' evening simple supper/snacks made it easy to stay there. Didn't use the pool but saw it, pretty basic. Handsome old YMCA building, the rooms were plain but the building had some nice architectural and historic touches! Hadn't heard of this chain but would enjoy staying again, ty ty

The hotel was in a great location and the staff was super friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was good. And we loved the kick back. Getting 3 drinks per person per night and a dinner snack was awesome!!! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked with this hotel in order to be close to the Polar Express Train Ride so we wouldn't have to drive or have to pay the Union Station Hotel prices. It's literally right across the street from the Polar Express and was about half the price of staying onsite (across the street). We were happy enough with those things but I said on the way home “I will absolutely leave a review” because our experience here was above and beyond what we expected. The building is spacious and beautiful, every staff member that we interacted with was genuinely kind, the entire building was clean from the room to the pool to the dining area (and constantly being cleaned throughout), but they also offered free breakfast AND dinner for their guests if you dine during their designated hours (which were perfect for our needed meal times). I loved this place and though we don't plan on doing the Polar Express more than once I'm more than tempted to find a reason to come back to St. Louis/Union Station again in all honesty just to stay here. Thank you for being everything we needed and more; this was like finding heaven after traveling for double the expected time in the Dec 1, 2025 snowstorm.
