We’ve stayed at this location for the past few years to visit family and we will be looking for a new option for upcoming trips. This hotel has been under construction for YEARS. Not only did this cause inconveniences for parking (yet there was still a daily fee), the upgrades do not warrant the price increase. This hotel adds significant incidental charges that are not posted in the listing causing confusion at check-in. The new additions only add pricey options for food and coffee. There are other options in the neighborhood that offer more value for the price. The staff, however, has always been awesome and pleasant to work with.

This was a fantastic hotel. The room was stylish, comfortable and quiet. Faith on the front desk deserves a special shout out - she was beyond helpful and friendly! The location was also ideal with lots of great restaurants within a short walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Fairly good stay

Had a fairly good one night stay here. Although the hallways are dingy and the 2nd floor smells like smoke (odd since all hotels now are non-smoking), my actual room was very clean and comfortable and did not smell at all. Tayonda was very helpful with assigning me a room that met my room requests. The location is great- steps from Forrest Park and great central west end restaurants. The hotel also has Bar social which has a coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches in the morning, a bar, and a pizza place so very convenient if you don’t want to leave the hotel. The hotel does not appear to be as accommodating for early check in/late check out requests. I asked the night before for late checkout the following morning and was told i would have to ask the following morning but it shouldn’t be a problem. When I went down the following morning…they said they had too many late checkouts and couldn’t accommodate me. I can understand if their policy is first come first serve but that should’ve been made clear the night before so I could’ve called down as soon as I woke up in the morning. They weren’t accommodating early check in even for customers w IHG status. The housekeeping team does a great job since the room was so clean but perhaps the hotel could hire additional staff so more customers could enjoy check in/check out.

Construction on premises. Had I known I would have stayed elsewhere. Love the room but did not get to utilize my deck and lost many zzz’s over construction noise, smell and some robotic voice security system that drove me insane. I was too much to not offer some kind of kickback for putting up with it.

Good stay

Check in was great until the trainee walked in and the entire place suddenly smelled of weed. The clerk was visibly annoyed and the trainee seemed to think it was funny. The room was exceptional, comfortable, very clean with a great shower. Parking is inside and out. The only complaint was the bar was already closed at 9 pm on a Saturday night.
