Cool place kept lots of the original look along with the new .. it did take a long time for someone to check us in at 4:15 no one was at the counter . We did arrive to the nice lobby late after a late night out & wanted to chill in the cool chairs in the lobby and we got told it was closed ? Idk how they can do that when we were staying there but he wasn’t mean .
Great location downtown. Easy walk to Enterprise Center for Blues hockey. Staff was kind and friendly, offered recommendations for food and drinks. Historic property. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, hot and tasty. Room was spacious, perfect blackout curtains.
The hotel itself was nice and clean. The staff quickly resolved a minor issue. However, there was construction noise much of the day during my stay in April 2025 due to renovations of a neighboring building.
We loved how unique the hotel building is - a former gas/oil company office building - not new construction so it was solid with extremely noise-proof rooms. Lots of space in the lobby and breakfast area to accomodate everyone. Staff was incredibly friendly and service-oriented. Highly recommend staying her for value, location to many St. Louis attractions, and customer service.
We had a great stay; however, be prepared to either meter park or pay for valet. There are no other options for parking. Other than that, this place was great and the location was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and the staff was very friendly.
The property was clean and the employees were friendly, I am not used to staying at a place that doesn't have parking. I do understand though, because of being in the downtown area.
I stayed here with my 14 year old daughter for a volleyball tournament. On the second night i had a new guest knocking on my door around 1:30 am. I asked what he needed and he just responded with him having the wrong room. 10 min pass. And more knocking!!! At this time myself and my 14 year old girl started panicking because they were trying to open the door!!! I asked who it is was and they said security!! At that moment the room phone starts ringing it’s the lady from the front desk asking me for my name, she goes on to tell me that they assigned my room to someone else and that they had me as a no show!! Of course i told her that was not my fault i had paid and checked in! I will never in my life stay here again!! People please stay away!
Just like this past summer, it was a great experience. Although the TV in my room did not work, the workers more than made up for it. Great courteous staff, clean hotel, I will definitely stay again. These people go above and beyond the call of duty to make everything right.

When we arrived, the room to our door was propped open and the sofa couch wasn’t fully put back into the couch. Our room was never cleaned throughout our stay and we were out all day long. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean, but it’s not anything to write home about.
