Great place! Check in directions were super easy. Very quiet. Theme rooms are nice. Ours had a sliding door to a balcony overlooking the yard and woods. Made to order breakfast was phenomenal and included in the price. Checkout was easy. I would definitely stay again.
Property is on a no outlet road, making it safe. House is really unique, nice rooms, just a couple things that I brought to managements attention, nothing that would stop us from staying there. Good breakfast in the morning, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast fresh fruit, waffles, juice..good!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Extremly noisy, dont stay if there is an event going on. I was hoping for a nice quiet stay with my wife. So much noise couldnt sleep.
The stay was good but we are seniors citizens and the low stool in the bathroom was a negative. There should at least be a hand bar to assist if an elevated stool is not possible--like the ones in the public toilets downstairs. The breakfast was delightful.
This property was custom and unique. It had a calm ambiance to it. Relaxing, and home like. Not the hustle and bustle of a hotel. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Ease of access in and out of the lodge was easy. I would recommend!
Fabulous Lodge. The theme rooms are very clever, a bit small, but great air condition control. The brunch was out of this world. Vicki, our dining expert and her Chef were very personable and did a superb job. I mean, come on, warmed plates for your toast !!! Yup ! Perfectly poached eggs and all the trimmings from their “open” kitchen. This was just us passing through St. Louis on the Interstate. What a breath of fresh air instead of another “motel”! Don’t hesitate to enjoy this Lodge. Steve and Patsy K.
This was our 2nd stay here in recent years. It is a very unique property with lodge like feel. This time we stayed in one of the basic rooms and found it very small and warm. We should have turned the AC on. The rooms are starting to show some wear. Breakfast is excellent, cooked to order. The bread/toast and muffins were on a separate table but we didn't realize till we were leaving. If you want a unique stay, consider this property but try one of the larger suites. Not a lot of dinner options very near but the setting is very nice for a fairly urban area.
