Scott at the front desk was so kind and helpful! The room was nice and clean, including the bathroom, and beds were comfortable. The bathroom also had a nice, updated walk-in shower. I would definitely recommend!

The Moonrise was fantastic. We loved the sixties moon artifacts and trinkets in the lobby area. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. The rooftop deck was a nice touch, allowing a great view of the surrounding area, even the Arch. We were on the 7th floor, and was a little noisy until the rooftop club closed. The room and bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay again if in the area. And the Paegant was right next door!

Great hotel for concerts at the pageant. Our only complaint was we arrived at 4:30 and they had no rooms ready for us and a whole group of people already waiting. Had to wait in the lobby for 45 mins for rooms to be cleaned and made ready.

The room we had was a little worn and had kind of a “smell”. They said they had a “galaxy” of wine and beer choices but it was actually very limited. We asked for an upgrade but were denied and told the hotel was “full” (it clearly wasn’t). Just not quite the same Moonrise I remember from 10 years ago.

A tornado had just hit St Louis about 2 hours prior to our arrival, so there was no power in hotel initially - check-in was old school, but the staff was so friendly and patient, instead of frazzled and short-tempered (as I would have been lol). The power was restored by the end of the night. Always love staying at The Moonrise - rooms and entire hotel has a great vibe!

"Howl at the moon"

Upon check in, front desk attendant was very unpleasant as I asked her for a room with a city view. She abruptly told me, "what do you want to see lady? Our town was destroyed by a tornado 2 days ago!" I was surprised, as I was not aware of the extent of damages done to her city. I expressed my condolences and explained I had no idea how hard they were hit. She continued to explain they just got their electricity on at the hotel a couple of hours earlier. As I was finishing my check in, she added, "and there is no internet or cable tv, either." At this point, I just wanted to get to our room and get ready for our event. Once in the room, I noticed the very worn looking decor and the bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned well, i.e. hair on the floor. I then went to wash my hands and the water in the face bowl
