Ballgame weekend stay
Nice one-night stay for a couple of Cardinal baseball games. Lively crowd of fellow fans in lobby & breakfast. Front desk staff was helpful. Parking was convenient.

Pool got crowded most nights as it’s not as big as it could be but staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were good. Complimentary popcorn and managers reception were a pleasant surprise.

The parking lot was full and chaotic on arrival. There was a line of cars with traffic backed up. Cars that were trying to leave were blocked in and it definitely caused anxiety. Once the line of cars started moving we realized they were waiting to check in because they had to have checked in prior to being able to park in the parking garage. So we had to add to the line of cars blocking traffic because there was no where to park to get checked in. Once in the lobby the check in line was backed up to the main entrance blocking anyone entering or leaving and to the elevators. Once we were checked in, we opted to park on the top of the parking garage. It was tricky getting to swipe in and other cars were having difficulty as well. From there everything was AMAZING! The staff were all extremely friendly. The view from the 7th floor we stayed on was gorgeous! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was super clean and quiet! We did not realize that there were late night snacks and drinks, which was an awesome surprise! It is walking distance to Union Station and to Enterprise Arena. When we got back from our concert drinks were still available, but cups were not there. So get your cups from your room or bring your own. Breakfast had great options. Biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal with all the toppings, cereal, bagels, breads, and waffles. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Hopefully check in goes smoother for others!

Such a great find! I travel once a year to visit my specialist in STL. Last year we stayed at a hotel connected to our hospital and it was not great- old/not updated facility, staff was borderline rude, parking was expensive and a nightmare and the breakfast, though good, was expensive. This time I opted for a hotel a little farther from the hospital and was very happy with our stay at Pear Tree! We will definitely be using them for future visits. Very clean, staff greeted us immediately and were very friendly and engaging (Quincy was so kind to even ask my 9 yo daughter about starting school and speak with her as well.) They had like a snack and drink kickback time from 5:30-7 in the dining area with nachos and drink vouchers for adults. Parking and breakfast were both included and the rates were one of the best we found. Walking distance to Union station and 10 min drive to the Arch as well as the hospital we were visiting. Just overall a great find.

Room smelled musty. Carpet looked dirty. Paint peeling off of the bathroom ceiling. Didn’t want to get into the tub as it looked filthy. Even if you did paint chips would fall on your head. Look like someone had puked and vomited all over the bathroom door. The smell in the room was less than Irbil
