Overall great experience at the Pear Tree Inn. The property is a little older however the room was a nice size with great views of downtown St. Louis with a small fridge and microwave in the room. Clean comfortable beds and bathroom. You can see the Arch from the hotel and on a cool day it's a nice walk. Really nice and professional staff. There's some uncovered parking around teh hotel and additional parking in a garage next door, you juts have to watch out not to park in the adjoining restaurant's slot. Very popular and busy while we were there but folks respected quiet hours. Would stay there again.

Great hotel to stay in. The area is quiet even on the day of a cardinals game. The free beer and snack social hour was a nice touch. Only downside is when a lot of people are there the elevators are impossible to use since there are about 9 floors but there’s no changing that. Besides that, beds were comfortable, shower took a bit to heat up, wifi is decent.

Room was great, clean and comfortable for the price. Hotel is a walkable distance to both city Museum and Union Station, which is great. Our only problem was the state of the pool. The water was murky, and the whole thing did not appear to be clean. Hot tub was not really hot and did not have enough water in it. My kids really wanted to swim in the pool so it was somewhat of a problem for us. Other than that we really enjoyed the stay.

The breakfast staff wasn’t the kindest last time we stayed or this time. But the food was hot and lots of choices! It’s about a good 30min walk to Busch stadium with is not bad at all. It’s also not far from the highway with makes it a great spot to stay. Overall, we will probably stay again in the future.
