Front desk clerk found me a place to get specific thing for lunch/dinner. Breakfast provided was great. Hot tea, coffee and chocolate available 24 hrs in lobby was wonderful. Due to hurricane damage, still doing repairs. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Only bad thing was I could not figure out how to get tv guide for listings. Would definitely stay here again.

Appears there’s construction going on but still very dated. Furniture in room is worn, bathroom didn’t look like it was cleaned that day (room might’ve been empty for a while), hair found in shower, has a gentleman’s club right next door and as a woman that was traveling alone, didn’t give the safest of “vibes” for me so I didn’t stay and booked elsewhere. The gentleman at the front was very nice and was understanding of my need to leave.

I have avoided making this review, but feel it needs to be made. My husband and I were checking in at about 7:30 PM on January 30, 2024. We’re given a key and we walked into a room that was occupied by another person. Thank God, the person in there was dressed and not angry. It was very upsetting. The woman at the desk, Nancy, indicated when we first came back and told her the situation that: “this was not her fault”. I went on to explain that there were only two people here, me and her, and I’m certain it’s not my fault. She then became much more apologetic. I did ask and was placed on a better floor which was much cleaner. The second floor of the hotel smelled but the 4th did not.

This hotel is old and dingy. The linens were stained. The tile gout was stained in the bathroom. The shower head was rusty tiny dirty stained. It was not good. You can tell the staff tries to keep it clean but you can’t clean deep down dirt. This hotel needs a refresh. The staff was friendly and professional. Property ownership need some encouragement to update this place. Oh the toilet ran and it’s next to a gentleman’s club

The good-The staff was great. Barbara at check in was friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning was above average. Lots of choices, always 3 hot items to choose from plus waffles, cereal, fruit, muffins, toast or bagels, coffee and juice. Breakfast was very good and the attendants went above and beyond to be sure everyone was getting what they wanted. The bed was very comfortable and the room very big, loved the microwave and fridge and two tvs. The pool area was clean. Back parking lot is shared with a Dunkin Donuts so good coffee easy to get. Not so good-hotel undergoing construction-was not aware or noted at booking. Hotel dated-carpet old and dirty throughout. Bathrooms not so clean on arrival. They only allow two bath towels per room, even when I begged for more, they refused more. My husband and I are used to each using two towels so it was uncomfortable. The hotel had a water break while we were there so no water in the hotel for 3 hours-again uncomfortable. The hotel is located on a major highway near the airport so a little loud but obviously cannot be avoided.

Comfortable at the Comfort Inn

Check in with "Nancy" at the front desk was amazing. She displayed professional work ethics not only towards me but towards my family and other guests that stayed at the Comfort Inn. She displayed candor, commitment, & competence. I can see repairs being done on the building, but the positive aura and attitude of the front desk receptionist and employees greatly brought out a pleasant and safe environment for our visit.

At about 8 pm a total stranger walked into our room after using their room key. I called the front desk and they said maybe they were on the wrong floor, which makes no sense. Sure doesn't say much about security. Also the table lamp had a 3 inch cut in the shade.
