I’ve been a regular here for a year and half on my business stays. Have friends who work there who I look forward to seeing. Last night a guy was threatening his girlfriend at the bar. I asked her if she was safe and she said she wasn’t sure. When he came back he was pounding the bar and saying something to her that caused her to tear up. I had enough and asked her if she wanted to come sit next to me to be safe. The boyfriend reacted as i assumed he would. The bar manager pulled them aside as a couple and asked if she was ok, clearly without knowledge of how domestic abuse works. That she wouldn’t admit it in front of the guy she’s fearful of. Asked me to leave after being there monthly for almost 2 years, trying to protect a woman at their bar. I’ll never stay again. I’d advise anyone with any sense from putting money into this place.

Home away from Home
The Hollander is a very friendly small Hotel with big charm. This hotel is our home away from home. We live in Keywest and own a shop in St. Pete, so we stay here almost every 3 months for several days. The restaurant has great food. Nice dessert and coffee shop. Bar is open till 11pm. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable.

the BEST St Pete Hotel
amazing! this is our staycation go to. I love the quaintness of the hotel, the christmas decorations. the rooms are comfortable and clean. we did ask for a suite and a made a huge difference with space. we always ask for pool view. the pool is fun when its warm enough, but even this time of year it was pleasant and they have heaters. the tap room has great atmospher and above all, great food!! the bakery is amazing. and on top of this, they have shuttle service all around town. they will drop you off and come pick you up. Highly reccomend !

Everything about this hotel is perfect for us. This hotel is our go-to when we visit FL and when used to live there, it was recommended to our friends as a place to stay when they visited us. Reasonable pricing, great location due to being downtown, yet being a few blocks away it makes for a quiet area. Great walking distance to downtown, the Edge District, the Pier and any events by the water. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the restaurant, as the food came out cold and overcooked (and there's so many other places to explore and eat at). Overall, always a 5 star for us.
