Lobby looked nice until we got to our room. 1) The whole building and room is on slope 2) Room feels like someone’s bedroom 3) The bed is terrible and is on a slope 4) Room smelt terrible, when we put the heat on, the smell was so bad I almost threw up 5) The room was very clean! 6) We had a bulb out in the bathroom, so we couldn’t see 7) Walls are thin, you can hear everything. I was up until 5am, the room beside us had their tv on loud playing music, talking to people, laughing out loud. 8) I got maybe 1.5 hrs of sleep and luckily woke up to a strong Marijuana smell. 9) lady at front desk was nice, but we left that morning.

This hotel needs a lot of work. Upon arrival to our floor there was some sort of a fight happening in one of the rooms and trash throughout the halls. Our showers in both rooms had no hot water even though the sign said to run for 1-2 min for hot water. When we left there were roaches in the hallway. Definitely not a place we will stay again.

Sorry, but tried to keep an open mind but i can't. I heard horry stories from friends that stayed there. Broken lights, hard bed, broken elevator, loud.... but at nearly $100 per night, and walkable to many places, i thoguht I'd try. My room was not made up. Dirty sheets everywhere. The room smelled. Trash was not taken out. Toilet was FULL and had flies. Red stain all around yhe end tsbke which i tried to convince myself was fruit punch, but it likely wasn't. Aside from that, very loud! I coukd hesr everything and everywhere. Woke up several time to cars, hallway chatter...The staff was great and apologized many times. Fully refunded my charges right away.

NO hot water at all in the entire hotel. The front desk knew about this and didn’t disclose it when we checked in. Hallways smelled of marijuana & we’re noisy with kids.

The hotel is very old and the hallways smell like smoke. The rooms were clean but they didn’t have extra blankets or pillows. The bed was very uncomfortable. The TV is tiny. Overall not the best experience but very cheap.

It checked my most important boxes
Overall, I was pleased, but it was because I was in St. Pete for a road race that was within a 10-minute walk, which is exactly what I wanted. The room was musty and could have been cleaner, but I could open the windows and it had a fridge. It was built in the 1920s, so there's a certain historical charm about it too. It was also one of the most economical places I found to stay. So I will choose this hotel again for events in downtown St. Pete. Why? I don't spend much time in my room and the convenience far outweighs the downsides.

We have stayed here a few times before but this was mildly disappointing. our first room didn’t have running water so we had to wait to move. Our second room was not very pretty to be in and shower was so tiny and had no water pressure. We ended up leaving a night early bc there was no hot water after about 20 min and we just didn’t want the haste of moving rooms again. We know it’s an old hotel ans all but it was not relaxing or enjoyable bc of that. The front desk agent didn’t ask or acknowledge why we were leaving a full night early which was kind of rude

The vintage vibe was great! The afternoon and morning desk attendance were friendly and professional. The night clerk was very rude and not helpful when I brought my tv remote down bc it was not working. The water in the shower was lukewarm, even after running it several minutes.
