Rumfish at Tradewinds in Feb 2025

The room was advertised as resort view but a palm tree was up against our balcony so no view from our balcony. We asked if we could move to another room but no one ever followed up on our request. A yes or no can do would have been nice. The worest coffee we have ever had offered at a "resort" i have had better at a hotel. There is still alot closed from hurricanes in oct 2024 but there is still plenty of restaurants to choose from. Rumfish fell short on the food, crab legs came out cold and waitress never checked back with us for 20 minutes so our complaint fell on deaf ears and she acted like it was our fault for eating them cold. It could have been because it was superbowl sunday but they shpukd not have offered the full menu if they couldn't hsndle it.

Nice, warm pools. Very nice server at Gulfside Kitchen. Rumfish Grill smelled musty, they ‘lost’ our dinner order, and ‘forgot’ to bring our bread. Names of venues on paperwork in room did not match the app. Dingy lobby, no welcome drink. Much of the property is quite run down. Several bars and restaurants were shut down, as was a pool, the tennis, a hot tub, the food truck, part of the paddle boat waterway, etc. The mini golf was missing 2 holes and was misaligned. Landscaping not maintained. Housekeeping did not show up on several of our 8 days. Awoken at 4am by partiers. Reported a few room issues, and no action was taken, and no update was provided when requested. Kicked out of the beach chairs at 5pm. Far too expensive given how many features were not available. Very disappointing vacation. By far the worst beach resort we’ve been to (of 13 trips).

Excellent Hurricane Recovery

The room was clean, nice and very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Its obvious the place is still recovering from TWO hurricanes that hit the area last fall but they are getting things back to normal. Will definitely go back

Beautiful property, we had the gulf view twin queen. Small room, but functional with surprisingly outfitted galley kitchen. Site had been damaged from hurricanes, but is certainly an older resort. It could use a face lift, and elevators that move faster than snails on tranquilizers.

Check in process was unsatisfactory. We went to register and said they didn’t have any rooms available. I called the reservation desk and they said they had rooms. We returned to the resort and they said they didn’t have any rooms. I called reservations again and she said she was working remotely and didn’t know if there was any rooms. I finally made the reservation through Expedia. Thank you Expedia.

Way too expensive for what it is. Over and above the room charge was a $436 iminities fee. If I had been told of that prior to driving all the way to Florida, I would have stay somewhere else.

Staff was friendly. Room was adequate. We had a gulf front room which was nice, but there were a few big unattractive trees (not palm trees) between the pool area and the ocean. We could hear the music from the pool area when we had our balcony doors open which was awesome until we realized that it was the same exact songs every single day. Also, could not check out on the tv as stated. Had to go to the front desk to check out. Wifi worked well
