Nice hotel with lovely staff. Clean and on a good position

Two night Staycation with my wife. My wife is a little difficult when choosing food, but the hotel was happy to meet in advance of our arrival so my wife could pre-order alternative meals for both nights. Lovely pool and sun bathing area - extremely lovely breakfast and evening meal. And we had asked for a fridge in the room which was also fulfilled.

Just returned from a three night stay at The Duke Hotel and loved it. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly. The hotel is short walk from the town centre and bus terminal which made getting about easy. The room was clean, comfortable and well laid out with plenty of storage. the bed was comfortable, and made up every day by housekeeping. Aircon was welcome in the heat! We used the heated pool at the Hotel which was lovely. Towels and robes are provided to make things easier. The bar area and terrace was lovely with reasonable prices. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening as we like to go out but the menu looked good. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

It’s just really lovely at Les Douvres, the breakfast is great and the rooms are comfortable. The bar is excellent and the staff are outstanding. If the hot weather continues I think they’ll have to succumb to air conditioning. But other than that brilliant!

Very helpful , moved our booking too when Condor Ferry cancelled the boat. Great base for cycling and walking around the island. Inn had a room to keep our bikes inside over night . Staff were amazing and went over and above to help. Drifters restaurant ,with the sunset views over the bay offered a wide choice of excellent food. We will be back.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel was easy to access but quiet and had a beautiful quiet garden. The swimming pool was well maintained and very secluded. Guernsey breakfasts were great and set us up for the day. Perfect setting for a quiet break, with easy access to buses (and the cycle shop delivered to the hotel direct). We had a lovely weekend and will go back.

Room was great. Food was good although menu a little limited. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did have issue with fridge that was reported and checked during the stay but wasn't fixed. Overall a good relaxed break.
