Love this place!

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was excellent and I had the Jerk wings for dinner which were great too! Room was clean and comfortable. Pools were very clean. The location to the shopping and restaurant district was ideal, only a couple of blocks. Parking is limited and the street in front is one way but changes direction from 4 - 6 p.m. which is a bit confusing. Nice view from the balcony.

I had a great eight day stay.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit run down and the water pressure is not good. The parking is sparce. The pool and dining area have beautiful views. The provided breakfast is very good. It is very close to shopping, great resturants and the jewelry district. The price is right and you get great value.

Staff was very accommodating for an early check-in and to arrange our airport transportation. Nice breakfast on an outdoor veranda. Great location for walking around historic district of Charlotte Amalie. Not a flashy/fancy place but comfortable.

The hotel is very simple; nothing luxurious except for the views! The food at the hotel's restaurant is fantastic ( chef’s kiss), and so are the staff.

Negatives: From desk staff rude and not helpful. Area was sketchy. Lights and tap broken in bathroom. Curtains dirty. Door lock didn’t fully close. Positives: bed was soft and comfy and breakfast was good. Overall I would not recommend staying here.

Bunker Hill Hotel stay

Our stay was very nice. It was clean and neat with a friendly staff. The only down was the hot water wasn't very hot for a shower. It was warm enough if you used just the hot water.

We booked this because it said “free parking “. There is no parking lot. There were no accessible spaces anywhere. The hotel is on a tiny, very steep one lane street which barely has room to pass by cars crammed along the street. We did not feel our car would be safe along this crowded street—assuming we could even find a spot to park.

The restaurant was quite excellent - don't try to take a hot shower, however. Things seem to be in a bit of dis-repair - ie: no wi-fi etc. Nice front desk service - well located.

I do not recommend it. Very bad conditions

I do not recommend it. Very bad conditions, too many stairs, going up and down from the 4th floor was an abuse, especially with suitcases. There are stairs throughout the building and for everything, which is excessive, and they do not have elevators. The room was in bad conditions, the shower was broken and dripped every night, the toilet seat was loose and made a horrible noise when flushing. They tried to overcharge me for dinner at the hotel restaurant, the menu stated one price and on the bill they wanted to overcharge me. Be very careful, people smoke drugs around the building. The only redeeming feature is the woman at the reception who was kind and that we were located quite close to the center. This place needs urgent repairs and better accessibility without excessive stairs for customers. The price of the food at the restaurant was also exorbitant, in general I would recommend going on a cruise to the Virgin Islands instead of staying locally, but if you want to stay there for a few days, look for a hotel with better conditions than this one.
