The place is old (not in a good way) the facilities are not maintained, the wifi is very slow and only works in some specific parts of the rooms... It's perfect to sleep in for a day if you miss your connecting flight or something like that, but not for vacation (and I wasn't looking for something luxurious...) It's not worth the price!!

Wasnt up to date to be considered a resort. The bar couldnt mix frozen drinks as their blender was broken during our stay. Being a resort i would assume they could afford to buy a new one to better serve the customer. I must say Cassandra at front desk and the lady maid who cleaned our room were exceptional. ❤️. We were in Room 1204. The taxis are overcharging so we rented an auto the second day forward. There were no evening entertainment. No elevator available. Could only find one ice machine to use which was on a lower level snd a different building. Many out door lounge chsirs were covered in bird feces and no one cleaned on our first day going to the beach and many seats taken due to cruise ship passengers.

Not a resort. Besides being a waterfront property, the hotel has nothing to offer. They are understaffed, the only nice staff was the lady from the gift shop ( Christy). The beach towels are ragged and the whole facility is beat up and outdated. Room is ok. Ac works well. Shower have no pressure, it just a slow drip. Very close to the airport , so it makes it easy to fly to and from.

The staff was great!! The walking distance to the airport was amazing. If you love to walk, which I do, a lot of things are within walking distance. The beach at the resort was incredible. My only constructive criticism is that the rooms are a little outdated and need some up-keeping. There was rust stains on the feeling of the bathroom, the doors, and walls. Aside from that, I had a great time there, and I would stay there again.

I had a good stay at the Emerald Bay, six nights, a decent value. The property is showing some wear & tear, fully expected at a location that's been battered by Cat 5 hurricanes over the years. The location: Great since the beach was steps from my room, not great since it's pretty isolated from town. The taxi stand on site makes getting around easy but I mostly stayed at the hotel. While the food in the restaurant was good (Seafood in pesto sauce at dinner was excellent), the menu options were limited and the prices a bit high - but probably in line with the dining costs seen across the island, all on the high side. Despite these downsides, I would book there again - at a fraction of the cost of other St. Thomas rates.

No conceived /bellhop services. Secondly, there was no water stocked in the refrigerators. The pillows are terrible. We only had two face clothes and towels, and the following day, we only received one face cloth. Most resorts provide fresh water for free with each meal, here you are paying $3 for water. Lastly, the biggest roach I have ever since made his way into our room.! Totally freaked me out
