I especially want to highlight the care and dedication of the staff—one night after walking all over Berlin during a heatwave my daughter managed to lock herself out of our room and we were so exhausted we didn’t hear her knocking. The staff found her wandering in her pjs, gave her a popsicle to calm her down and got her back to our room safely, and we didn’t even know it had happened until the next morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, and in a lovely quiet area surrounded by beautiful green parks while still being in the heart of Berlin. We were there for a family vacation and being able to slip into the back door of the zoo was magical.

While the hotel was fine for our two night stay it was quite disappointing for a 4 star hotel. There are only 20 parking spots available for hotel guests and finding local parking was incredibly difficult with the staff not offering any suggestions. The room was very basic, new but basic. There was a warning on the shower to not use too much hot water as the steam would set off the fire alarm, and once you do shower the entire floor was soaking wet because of the showers poor design and placement. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast with many options, clean, spacious rooms. We would definitely stay here again. The family room was only really big enough for 2 people so we booked a second room for 2 of the 4 people in our party. The breakfast on the weekends didn’t start til 7:30, which wasn’t great because we were jet lagged and not on local time yet, but apparently no one in Berlin gets up early on the weekends. The Adina hotels in other cities are also good, but not as good as this one. In-room laundry and kitchenette were awesome.

Staff was outstanding

Excellent location whether on foot or by car to see the sights of Berlin. Also excellent proximity to train (U-Bahn). Rooms were cleaned daily and always felt comfortable in our stay over the 10+ days. Highly recommend the SANA Berlin.

Cute hotel right in the center of the museum campus. I came during the heatwave of June 2026 and the per-room adjustable AC blew nice and cold through the night. Shower was big and clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. I even had a big fridge with a freezer which was amazing. Loved my stay here and would come again
