Great hotel, spoilt by drunken noise.
Lovely hotel in an amazing setting on the Thames. Staff were lovely and the food was great. The thing that spoilt it: It's also a pub (not a problem by itself) but they have an outdoor area with a TV (playing football matches) - right under our window. That meant drunken lads shouting at the screen (very loudly) and even with the windows closed it was very loud. This went on for several hours, eventually stopping at around 11pm. The (quite young) staff were reluctant to confront the increasing drunken group, so the noise just got worse.

Charming small hotel on the river, not far from Heathrow. Very picturesque. Restaurant and pub seemed to be popular with locals. Great breakfast that was included. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

It’s lovely
Highly recommend this hotel. Service is great and the place is beautiful inside and out. I’ve stayed in four hotels across Staines and Egham, but will always stay at The Seán from now on. It’s lovely.

Fantastic!
Always a great place to stay with the finest breakfast menu in town!.....Beware there is no lift in this old world hotel from the past...but is exquisite and right on the River thames with a great British Pub with excellent choice of beers....DO NOT get this hotel mixed up with The Boleyn Hotel across the street (it is terrible hotel and run down it looks good in the pictures but is not)

Really lovely pub/inn. Super nice room with little luxuries in form of complimentary, trendy teas, coffees & chocolates. Breakfast, with view of the river, was beautiful with great continental buffet options excellently presented and fine a la carte options.

Easily one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Food was incredible, service was friendly (although staff knowledge of drinks could be worked on, was given gin glasses for prosecco, then when we tried to order a second bottle was told they didn't sell it.) Didn't negatively impact our stay but I'm sure there's some people who would have been making a scene about it. We stayed for our wedding anniversary but it was also the euro finals and we were pleasantly surprised by how calm and friendly the atmosphere remained considering the pub over the river was a little rowdy. Gorgeous views to eat with and the eggs at breakfast were gorgeous. We will absolutely be back next year! This is our new anniversary spot. Also only a 6 minute drive to thorpe park

As mentioned in other reviews, this is a great choice for convenience to Heathrow without feeling like you're close to the airport. The charm and character of the hotel is great, the pub and breakfast were excellent, and the staff was warm and welcoming. It took a bit of searching to find The Swan but it was certainly worth it. Next time we're in London we'll certainly be back!
