I booked this hotel and I didn’t know that the floor was being renovated. There was no carpet and it was very hard to walk around.

Not much to like. To get to the elevator one has toc limb 8-9 steps!! It was difficult for my wife using a walker. I have never seen any hotel where one MUST climb several steps to get to the elevator. In addition, the internet in my room was not working. When called, no help came within a reaonable time. While leaving in the morning, none of the elevators was working (had to use a service elevator). Obviously, will not recommend this hotel.

It started when I had to go up the steps to the elevator. Up the steps……..to the elevator……? Of the 2 cards that we were given for the “room” (I use quotes because that being generous with the term room - it was very small) only one card worked and eventually that card stopped working. The toilet in our closet was quite crooked and there was no place to set anything in the bathroom. Upon departure, we took all 4 of our bags to the end of the hallway only to find both elevators out of service. Not cool at all. Would not recommend to anyone.

There is construction occurring on the property in the hallway on my floor where they are using a electric saw, I couldnt sleep due to the construction early morning they started working, very inconvenient and unprofessional.

My experience at the LaQuinta Inn in Stamford, CT was absolutely horrible to say the least. I am a teacher & moving into a new place in a week and was looking for a nice affordable hotel to stay for 6 days & 5 nights. So I chose the LaQuinta. For one, they don’t clean rooms on a daily & cleans them every 3 days which was a first for me after all the hotels I’ve stayed at that has daily room cleaning. On my second day there, I wasn’t feeling too well & planned on going into urgent care. I decided to grab breakfast at the hotel before leaving & arrived 3 minutes after breakfast ended at 9:33am. When I got to the breakfast area, there were people still getting and eating breakfast. As soon as one of the workers saw me, she immediately got angry started to plug everything out, seemed very aggressive and then said “I’m tired I’ve been here since 6:30 breakfast is over” in a very rude tone. I asked her if I could use the waffle machine since it takes less than two minutes to make & she closes the waffle machine immediately & said “This is not your house. go get something to eat next door at the diner”!!!. I then proceeded to make the waffle and the same worker grabbed and pinched my right hand arm aggressively. Rather than retaliate & hit her back, I decided to speak with the front desk staff. The front desk staff was very insensitive when I explained the situation & offered support to the worker who physically assaulted me. The manager called cops on me and forced me to check out

So, the carpets were sticky, how dirty does a place have to be to make the carpets sticky? The are replacing them but these should have been replace years ago. Also, when I went into my room, there was a dirty sponge on the entryway floor. The pictures online were very different.

No tv throughout the hotel. Toilet was barely connected to the floor and wall. Beds we're not made and the door wasn't even locked when we entered our room. This hotel should not be open. Atleast 3 people left the hotel after they checked their rooms

Renovations were happening. Looks like updates will be good. Restaurant right next door. WiFi very slow. No elevator on first floor so you have to carry your light up two flights of stairs to get to the elevator

Another late evening check in. Slow check-in. Carpets, lobby area furniture is heavily soiled. It does have renovation signed posted. We would not stay again. Several groups of "interesting" people in the parking lot and entrance that required a visit from the police. The staff was friendly but distracted by the events around the hotel. We would avoid this hotel and maybe the whole area.
