Impromptu Visit
My husband and I drove our son back to Penn State after a weekend home and decided to stay overnight and hang out ourselves. We arrived and were greeted by friendly and informative staff. Nice hotel, hotel bar, and room. Loved the convenience of parking and a one time charge daily no matter how many times you go in or out. Also really liked the convenience of being in the heart of downtown for exploring. It was a pleasant stay and our first time at this hotel. We’ll be back!

Zero water pressure and no shower!!
What a frustrating hotel. The place looks clean and the lobby is nice. The rooms were standard but the bathroom was gross and there was no water for the entire first day in the shower. Not even a trickle. Zero. The front desk said they were working on it but when it was finally “fixed” by the end of the day there was zero Water pressure…like shampoo won’t come off even your body pressure.

This is our second stay and it was just as greay if not better than our first. Its pet friendly and very clean. The room was nice and quiet and very affordable. Theres a free bkst and lovely bar down stairs. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will dey stay again!

This Hyatt property continues to be my first choice for visits to Penn State--the parking is simple, the location is a very walkable block from campus, the breakfast buffet is handy and tasty, and the rooms are always comfortable and clean.

There was a lot of construction in the area and they weren’t able to provide a parking option for motorcycles. Other than that we had a good stay.
